Cow - Teri and Ted Trapper wanted the farmer to get the cow off the road. They wanted him to get the animal that eats grass and gives milk out of the way. Cows can get hurt crossing the road.

Candle - Teri Trapper held a lighted candle so that Ted could see his way in the dark. She held a stick made of wax with a string in the middle. Suddenly, there were lighted candles all around them.

Gas - The stove in Ted and Teri Trapper's kitchen burns gas. It heats with something that you can't see, but you can smell. There are many kinds of gases. Air is a gas, too.

Button - A button fell off Ted Trapper's suit. A small, round, flat thing that holds the suit shut fell off. Now Ted has to buy more buttons. Ted can button his coat. He can close it with its buttons. Because it was snowing, Ted buttoned his coat.

Cupcake - Ted Trapper made Teri a cupcake for her birthday. He made her a little cake. Cupcakes are what Teri likes to eat best of all!

Gift - Teri Trapper had a gift for Ted. She had a present for him. Ted got many gifts that day because it was his birthday.
