Your sobsister, while still in grammar school, was, for the length of a year, in the school choir. This says nothing about my ability to sing then or now, as they were desperate for members, it being a small school.
Our little choir put on a couple of performances for the school and whatever parents cared to hear children massacre beloved songs. One show, I recall, was for Christmas. The other was for St. Patrick's Day. And for that latter performance, all the Irish-American chestnuts were hauled out and roasted, among them, this classic.
