for anon! this term was coined here (i'd recommend looking at that post for context on the crater referenced in the definition), and there's a simplified definition here. i modified the simpler definition for this post, since i felt it could be worded a bit better. the flag is based on the gendercrater flag from the first link, with the center diamond representing the deepest part of the crater and the larger diamonds representing layers of erosion around the edges.
