For all the tech-freak (or no so much...) witches that like to benefit from technology in their practices, I made a list of my favourite ones! For now, these are only for Android users, but soon enough I will make a list for Apple users too :D

○ Simple Moon phase widget

A great deal of witches like to synchronize their workings with the phases of the Moon, so this widget is really helpfull not only because it shows the lunar phase on your main screen, but also sends you notification every transition and has an built-in lunar calendar. The widget itself is resizable and the Moon picture is HD. May sound silly, but the Libra in me only works with beautiful apps <3

○ Lunar Calendar

Do you know those popular dos and don’ts during certain moon phases? This app shows a good deal of them, divided into four categories: health and nutrition, hair care, garden and agriculture and business and finance. Since it doesn’t tell what is the source of all this info, I suppose it comes from folk knowledge -- and fits pretty nicely into different culture’s beliefs. It also has a very useful calendar showing moon phase, zodiac sign and lunar day. It is pretty, well-made and can give lots of insights about what to do (ou not) considering the lunar phase.

○ Herbs Encyclopedia

From all the apps on the topic, this is the one I like the most! The list of herbs is huge, it shows pictures of every plant listed, the information is really well-researched, it has a separate list of dangerous herbs and also show suggestions on natural treatments for every-day problems, being it related to health or beauty. Have in mind that the information is from herbalist/cientific point of view, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use it for our witchy purposes, right?

○ Kamea sigils

Everyone that is into making sigils with magick squares has to have it! You pick the square of your chosen celestial body, write the key-word for your sigil and that’s it! You can name and save it in your app’s gallery. Don’t know about magick squares? You can read a little about it in here.

○ Dreamboard

For all witches interested in dream work, this is really good. I’ve tried again and again to keep a dream journal, but I just can’t. With this app, keeping records of my dreams is really easy -- especially because I can do it from my bed and in the dark. It makes you name your dreams, write a little description of it, tell if it was lucid or not, pick colors related to it, pick your feelings about it and also track who and where you are dreaming of. Really good for people like me, who believe they do not dream as often because they can’t remember it -- the more I track my dreams, the more I can remember them.
