A bit random and I'm sorry, but I was considering buying a tablet for college and using it for notes and books. Would you say this could work? And do you maybe know of others who have done it this way?

one of my best friends did this with a surface pro -- she switched over from a huge clunky laptop to that thing her sophomore year, and used it for everything. she had to have a laptop to type lecture notes in classes, and it worked great for that, as well as for writing papers and having ebooks on. sometimes it was a little finnicky, but for the most part she adored it. it completely replaced her laptop (save for gaming, obviously). it cuts back on the amount of crap you’ll be carrying around on a day to day basis, that’s for sure. keep in mind though, there will be some books that you will not be able to get electronic versions of, unfortunately.
i, for one, am much more prone to like physical notebooks and then having my laptop as a separate thing, but the tablet system worked wonders for my friend. it all depends on you i think!! but it can absolutely work!! she was a top student too, graduated with a 3.97, i think.
