Help, I accidentally became too good at my old job, and my current one.
My old one wants to rehire me in a higher position with more benefits, higher pay, and a lot more responsibility.
My current job is begging me to take more hours, but I currently can't.
Anyway, making a (rather small) move, to a town literally about half an hour away (or less, depending on traffic). And my old manager at my old job got promoted, and is now a DM. Her and the GM at my old store (who was the AM when I left) have been trying to convince me to come back. Like, almost immediately after I left.
And now, since one of my current coworkers is MIA, my current place of employment suddenly wants to give me the hours that I've been asking for for two months.
So, it's gonna be really fucking funny when I update my resume, and get WTF looks from future employers about what the hell happened, because A is so not gonna point to B.
All this to say, I'm going from being a dishwasher to being a manager.
