I always found technical aesthetics very fascinating. And at some point this interest in technical graphics led me to starting a research project called CXEMA (Russian for "scheme", схема).
I'm collecting examples of various visual elements used in schemes, manuals, technical drawings & graphs, city environment and creating posters with them. The aim is to use usually purely functional elements in a new way by creating something that has no use at all but is interesting to look at. No function, just form.
