teastainedcpt replied to your post: Now I just feel bad. I’ll make some more tea...
You okay?
My emotions sometimes get away with me. I have been bipolar since birth, so I'm used to it, and it's a bazillion times better since I stopped being a teenager (my brain finished growing) and started being able to laugh at myself (which I started being able to do during the first few months this year).
If I am upset enough to want some comforting, I'll spell it out, but it's really sweet of you to ask!
I just feel bad about making people wait for this fic and feel bad about not working on it as much as I should and feel concerned that I want the fic to stay consistent but to be good (sometimes I worry my style is too sparse to be "proper" writing) and I want to fit in the things I want to do in this chapter and I get concerned that people will stop liking it idk. Silly things, really, but there all the same.
teastainedcpt replied to your photo: ready as I’ll ever be.
good luck!
Thank you!!
teastainedcpt replied to your post: teastainedcpt replied to your post: Mycroft saying...
it is grammatically correct to say something shat, but the British upper-class are so embroiled in their own bureaucracy no-one knows what’s correct anymore. but Mycroft might be able to pull it off if he’s angry or stressed.
Good to know.
I already changed it when you let me know earlier. Thanks again!
teastainedcpt replied to your post: Mycroft saying “shat”. I can dig it, can you? ...
I’m not sure he would. It’s very working class. I could buy him saying ‘it shit’ or the more correct ‘it had a shit’. (Sorry, Brit class mover here. Did not know how working class the word ‘shat’ was until very recently.)
And see, to think, I'd almost deleted that post last night but hadn't.
This is really all too bad, shat is such an amazing word and sounds "righter" to me grammatically, but you'd know about stuff like class.
Does anyone else have any thoughts? I'll go change it, likely, if no one does.
Thanks.
