I hope Tyson plays again one day, but as far as I’m concerned-his journey is complete. He is the show’s main character and has displayed growth and maturity unlike any other.
He started out as an arrogant villain with a justified blindside, then became a laughing stock for voting himself out in one of the dumbest gambles ever. Through it all, there was strategy and intelligence in his game. He was the one who held his alliances together and had plans set up that would take him far. Three years later he turns it all around and plays one of the greatest, most entertaining games in the show’s history, all for Rachel. He starts a family and devotes his WAW game for them. No longer a young punk, but a loving father.
I’ve always maintained that Tyson is the most charming and social castaway ever. He exudes charisma and humor, all while pretending to be an ass. There’s a reason he is so loved by everyone and won in a near unanimous vote. He remains one of the best to ever play no matter what.
Thank you, Tyson, for your humor and lightness to the game. Watching you for over ten years has been a joy.
