This post hit home, because, one, I think our society has taken FOMO to the head, and, two, since I'm #teamsober for almost 10 years, and, DO NOT like tequila, or, consuming any alcoholic products, seeing this meme lets me know... if not even tequila can please everyone, cough me cough, how can ANYONE, or, anything ever please EVERYONE? They don't, you haven't, I won't, Tequila can't. And, In knowing thats the case...feel obligated to do what you do, like what you like, be who YOU are...and after that, the people that get down With you will stay down with you, those that don't, well, as my Uncle would say... "This hurrre, Ain't Fo' You, Nephew!" And, at this very moment, I can truly say, That's ok. I don't have to do Everything. In this world, there are so many distractions, and, so many things that can tear you away from your goals. Most people seek out their vices during their lesiure or entertainment, but, for me, it's the Opposite. I typically work in environemnt that can literally throw me off my presumed course. How? Well, I don't drink, But, I typically work in an evironment, (be it nightclub, happy hour, wedding, or, this Place Im going today at 1pm the Battle of The Chefs) where drinks are heavily flowing. How do I stray away from the temptation? I focus on the goals for the time period. I push forward, and take a step ahead, just enough to not see the distractions. Basically, I leave them in the background, And, quite Honestly, I drink a lot of soda water to resist any thirst. 🤔😂 Knowing that The goal is to capture the fashion, document the said event, and get to the money, Anything that is not part of that said formula, I cant endulge during that time. It works because ...well, it has to.
