So um. I already wrote this but then my computer crashed so ALL WAS LOST. It was like 4000 words. So let me re-type my rant in smaller form so that I can get this out for you guys!

Okay, first off, you guys are awesome! You guys make me laugh, smile, cry, think, and create. You all inspire me and you all have so much talent, it’s insane.

Second thing, let me tell you my general view of Social Media. I have been raised to be cautious. Not only on social media, but with who I pick for friends as well and what content I listen too/watch, etc. Where I used to live, there were a bunch of pervs trolling the internet that lived near me and it wasn’t the place for a kid to be posting and the guy (or girl) to start stalking the kid to the point where they were so close to the home, they could practically knock on the door. This never happened to me-THANKFULLY- but it was highly possible. It was dangerous. So that’s why I’m so cautious when I’m posting on social media. Yeah, I’ve posted two or three selfies and my nickname but ask yourself, do you really know me? You don’t know where I live (WHICH IS A GOOD THING), you don’t know what school and even if I’m in school, my (full) name, my age, etc. I hate to sound like I’m mad at you guys-which I’m not!- but to be honest, I only have told you that I live in North Americaland and even then I could be lying. So sorry guys, but you really don’t know all that much about me.

Now onto how I feel about conversations with you guys.

I’m always open! Guys, I’m here for you. I may not be up 24/7 but I am here. Whether you need advice, you just want to say hello, or share something you’d think I’d like, I’m here. As long as the conversation doesn’t put me into any sort of danger, I’m here to talk. The reason why I say this is because recently I was put into a situation by my real life friend where one of her “relatives” could have killed me if he had decided to come seek vengeance on his ex, my friend’s sister who was in the house, which would have put my life in the hands of an idiot. You can see why I was mad. But getting back on subject, I don’t mind talking to you guys! I may seem pushy, cold, brash, or sometimes over enthusiastic but it’s just me being cautious. If I had to summarize how I felt about Internet friends, it would have to be I am uncomfortable with them. I’m not saying I don’t like you guys (Heck No! I love you guys to death), I’m saying that how am I to know that you are not who you say you are and you might be a forty year old man sitting in his mom’s basement behind a monitor with his perv moustache and he’s wearing his stained shirt he hasn’t washed for weeks? (that was a little over the top but people like that exist) So that’s why I keep my personal life out of the eye of social media as much as possible and why I don’t chat with people online a whole heck of a lot. I only play video games, and real games, with people I have met and that I trust and that others trust. Not to mention my parents. We’re cautious about me going over to a friend’s house because something can happen; as a perfect example, my friend’s house when I could have gotten killed. I am apart of communities such as the @mark @matthiasiam @marksandrec @therealjacksepticeye @otterbug communities and many more so I may be active in that aspect but not so much as the communicating aspect of it in the sense of messaging. I don’t like messaging because you never get your true feelings across and it would be weird (for me) to call a person or video chat them because for me that’s a big NO NO if you don’t know the person in real life.

I hate to drop this huge bomb on you guys but I needed to get this off my chest so that way your clarity of understanding with my feelings is crystal clear. I’m not saying that I dislike you guys sending me stuff and reblogs, I’m saying I’m just trying to keep my private life private and I want to explain to you why because you guys deserve it. So if it seems like I push away some people, it might be the case, but most of the time it’s because I try not to get overly attached to online people. (When I say ‘overly attached’ I don’t mean to the point of something bad happens to you or you are having a rough time and you try and reach out or I don’t reach out to you, even though I can see your problem, and I’m stone cold and I don’t want to waste my precious time on you cause you essentially an anonymous. No. No what I’m say at all) You are all awesome and I want to learn more from you guys, but hopefully you can see where I’m coming from on this and where and why I’m drawing the line that I’m not crossing and that someone else shouldn’t cross.
