Kings & Queens of Kona 2017 Series - Alexandra Tondeur (BEL) . . .................................................. Alex has been participating in triathlon since 2007, winning the Gerardmer Olympic in 2008. It wasn't until 2013 that she embarked on the 70.3 and long distance and her first year on the Ironman circuit. In 2015 she had no less than 11 podiums in a mix of distances and taking 3rd at the European Championship Ironman 70.3 Wiesbaden of August that year. Seven more podiums and a 19th spot in Kona followed in 2016. The beginning of 2017 saw Alex join the new @itzutriteam, owned by triathlete and Belgian businessman @koenjanssen81 along with head coach and manager - two times Ironman World Champ - @lucvanlierde.
