Sonic[series] Headcanons : Team Primary
Don't mind me, just making a list of headcanons for the cast, both from the games and comics. This is also tied to the characters I included in me fanfic! All this fandom stuff is a little new to me, since I rarely interact with anything fanbase-related unless it's art and music or something similar. Also, I've been trying to get out of this net know as "lack of motivation," and starting in little steps like this fanfic idea and such. Hopefully these make sense and or are as entertaining to you as they are to me. ^^ Team Primary [Sonic, Tails, Knuckles] -Sonic mainly lives with Tails, but due to his way of life, he'll sometimes crash at other people's places, and they usually vibe because, well....He makes people feel very safe, after all. Though the one who appreciates it the most is Knuckles, since most times he's by himself and doesn't really have anyone to talk to when guarding the master emerald. Sonic picked up on this fairly easily and chooses to crash at Angel Island any chance he gets. Their conversations usually consist of teasing, yelling, good old laughs, and stargazing. They may bicker, Sonic being a jokester and Knuckles the one to take things too seriously, but at the end of the day, they're brothers for life.
-[Tails, at one point, asked Knuckles to train him in combat so he could be stronger. Knuckles was initially caught off guard by the request, but he obliged, quite elated to aid his younger brother in improving his combat skills. Now obviously, Tails doesn't reach Knuckles' level of strength, so his body takes a toll cause he would go over and beyond the necessary amount of exercise. Knuckles would peep this and ask Tails why he is going so far to train, at the risk of seriously harming himself. Tails has the needed courage to be a great adventurer, but his strength...to him was quite lackluster. He always sees Sonic go beyond his limits to defend those he cares about, but with Tails...he has a limited way of handling what comes his way and has been captured by foes more than he'd like to count. He felt ashamed for always letting Sonic down. Despite what many would believe, Knuckles can be quite the voice of reason, all things considered. He makes sure his friends are fine in silence, observing them when they act unusually, yells to bring some sense back into them, and he also isn't afraid to bonk some heads too if it drives a point home. In fact, he does just that to Tails, as gently as possible (it still hurt), and lets him know all the amazing things he has done, like how he went above and beyond to save Sonic from Eggman when Chaos was still around, his aid during the metal virus crisis, his immense intellect, which helped several of his friends for years, including Knuckles himself. His brain is his strongest muscle and should never be disregarded when strengths are mentioned, because his greatest power was both his courage and mind. This brotherly bond really brought the boys together, and while Tails from time to time still thinks about how he isn't on the same level as his big brothers, power-wise, he always looks back to this conversation that lets him know that he isn't weak at all! Knuckles words are proof of that!] -Sonic and Tails entered a chili dog eating contest once for Charity reasons [Also....Chili dogs]. Not only did they pass their goal [over 10k], but Sonic came in first place. Tails barely managed to make it to 3rd and had a stomachache for the rest of the day.... -Knuckles still does some good ol' treasure hunting here and there to pass the time when he's bored, something he actually started doing thanks to Rouge, who made a bet that she could find more treasure than he with just one hand and leg tied behind her back...she did. This greatly pissed him off, so he decided to practice his treasure hunting skills to prove her wrong and challenge her again some other time...he ended up really enjoying the thrill of it and even wears a hat he found in some ruins on Angel Island. He doesn't wanna admit to her that she got him into it. -Sonic's fave music genres: [Funk, Hard Rock, Jazz, Classic Pop, Hip-Hop, and Blues] Funk, Rock, and Hip-Hop especially Tails' fave music genres: [Jazz, EDM, Soft Rock, and Classical] He likes only SOME pop music Knuckles' fave music genres: [Hard Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Lo-Fi, and Funk] He especially loves the more chill songs, which helps him focus more. Though a nice loud song is great for training.
-Tails, when really involved in a project, has his tails twist together really tightly when stressed, spin lazily when his thoughts are heading towards a cool idea, and are stagnant and unresponsive when tired. He doesn't even realize when these happen until someone points it out to him. -Sonic, in a single week, no, a single day, can go from Sally's kingdom, Tails' house, Angel Island, bothering Shadow, having coffee with Rouge, tea with Cream, running away from Amy, and beating up Eggman, then in the very next day, do absolutely nothing but sleep, or sleep and then wake up in the middle of the night to prank somebody [Knuckles and Shadow are his usual targets] -Sonic runs a system that is just, but more so in a selfish way. He will save people because he wants to, not because it is the RIGHT thing to do. He doesn't go based on what is morally right, just what is right to him. Tails does things for the fact that it's morally right. Knuckles does so based on a duty HE sees as worth fighting for [though he has questioned his stance before]. If the world suffers, the sense of order he has been upholding suffers along with it. So he feels inclined to aid if it means protecting his sworn duties. But they all have one thing in common: This is all based on their instincts, the reasons they chose were what they gravitated towards, and they feel more inclined to follow. Sonic's instincts are the sharpest. -Sonic's real name is his real name. His mom and the doctors noticed that he'd move WAY faster than any damn baby could, and he was hard to keep still, so she was like "damn, he fast as hell" and named him Sonic, true story. Sonia and Manic have their reasons as well! [they goofy with it]
