Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background

Rikuto has a group photo as both his lockscreen and his background. The lockscreen photo is the five of them standing in a circle with their different kinds of shoes. Hiroko has said that it would be funny to do a converse photo on one of their dates and they had huddled up and taken it. His background picture is a selfie that Shun had taken of the five of them on a pier, in their bathing suits, posed with ice creams in their hands.

Shun has their colours in vertical stripes as his lock screen. His actual background and theme is a monochromatic black, white and purple.

Hiroko has a collage of selfies and pictures that span from last year of highschool through to their adult working lives as her background. Nothing prior because that was when she had last updated her phone and didn't sync up the photos. Her lock screen is a photo of a polaroid picture, the actual original copy sits on the back of her phone inside her case.

Takashi has a default wallpaper as his lock screen, it's one of the animated fish ones. His background is a photo of the five of them with sparklers writing out the word 'fuck' and a heart with long exposure.

Kazue has the sparkler picture as his lock screen. A picture of the other four working on Shun's bike is the background.

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror

Hiroko likes to draw on the shower screen glass, and if she's showered with someone else they'll join in too. There's ten centimetres at the top of the glass that gets foggy and doesn't get splashed by water that always has evidence of a prior shower drawing

The mirror gets outlines of people where Kazue will reach around Hiroko and trace her reflection and then add silly faces where her real face would be. They always stand naked and drying laughing at the angry eyebrows and squiggly mouths.

They add writing to these too, arrows pointing to finger drawings to label them as 'catboy' and 'meow meow'.

Who buys the other cheesy gifts

Shun always, always, will impulse buy things that he sees that reminds him of the others, one of the many impulses that he is helpless against. He sees a nice flower, a smooth pen, a tasteful necklace, a choker on clearance, a pad of stickers and he's already taking it with him to the counter to pay for it.

The others, of course, will buy him gifts in return.

Who initiated the first kiss

Takashi and Rikuto are the first to kiss, the two of them are inside at a house party that'd just started warming up. Takashi had pulled Rikuto into one of the open bedrooms and asked for help with his makeup. He didn't actually need help though, but it was too early in the night to play tipsy and kissy. Rikuto, flustered, helped reapply highlight and body glitter and Takashi watched him from under his eyelashes. Gaze flitting from focused eyes to lips.

Rikuto was the one to ask for the kiss, tongue darting out to wet his lips and Takashi grinned and gave him one, and then another, and then pulled away as someone from outside the house switched the music to something louder.

Who kisses the other awake in the morning

Kazue is usually the first out of bed if all five of them sleep together. He kisses the person who's closest to the end of the bed and then goes about his day.

Shun next and he always spends the time to give a kiss to whoever's still in bed.

Rikuto and Takashi usually wake up around the same time and give each other a smooch and then one for Hiroko.

Hiroko is the one to be kissed awake, usually the Takashi-Rikuto kiss will wake her but sometimes it doesn't and one of the other two will come back to the room and peck and prod her until she wakes.

Who starts tickle fights

Rikuto starts tickle fights. They usually begin with a double buzz to the sides as he's walking past. Nonchalant until the other person turns on him and then he runs and hides behind someone else, who already knows that he's the one who started it but will play along good-naturedly until they get pulled in to the fight.

Hiroko is the one to finish them. She starts kicking when it gets to too much and one time she almost got Shun so hard he'd been left in a daze for a few minutes

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower

When they were in the tiny apartment and the shower could only fit one and a half people no one would shower together, unless they were up for the cold shower wall as well. Now, in their new apartment they can fit three people comfortably and five people if they all squished in. Kazue is the one to third wheel a lot of the time, getting home just in time to wiggle his way into the shower or whatever fun is had.

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch

Rikuto likes homemaking, he likes cooking. He does try to cook food on most days and he does make extra so they can keep some for lunch the next day. Shun likes to try his hand at making lunch for Rikuto too, he drops it off on the way to the office.

Kazue likes to cook as well, in the most unfortunate way, he doesn't follow a recipe so his cooking is very hit or miss. He can't ever replicate a good meal either as he can never remember how much of what went into where. His lunches are always a surprise.

Who was nervous and shy on the first date

Hiroko was so nervous about the first five person date, there had been a few of them who had gone on dates in pairs before but the five of them together in one place had been nerve wracking. She barely spoke and shook any kind of touch off, scared of how they would all look to any outsiders.

Who kills/takes out the spiders

Takashi will take out spiders a lot of the time, mainly because Shun and Kazue enjoy the dramatics of being afraid of insects more than actually being afraid of insects. They play off each other too much and become useless about creepy crawlies. Although, if there isn't anyone is pretend for they will take out the spider themselves.

Hiroko and Rikuto don't mind if there's a spider. They'll often just leave them alone.

Who loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk

- Scarlet Blaze is trans and from uchiha clan, he’s cool calm and collected at all times, except when sasuke is off doing something stupid (its those times when he wants to drill his head into a wall but there aren’t walls thick enough for sasuke’s stupidity) He likes to train while Azure and Crimson watch on, sometimes theyll join in but most times theyll just yell pointers to him. He eats with his friends more often than not, Tsunade warns him that it might be a little too dangerous to get too close to the others, she knows how he is with his feelings (intense and smothering like fire) and if his heart gets broken, well Tsundae realises what a risk it would be to have another loose cannon uchiha.

- Breeze Dancer is a nonbinary pansexual that likes to have fun, he is 100% confident in his power and often comes off as arrogant, he always wants to help his friends even if he’s in a bad mood. He’s super strong bc he carries around the fan he got from his parents in Suna. He’s from Suna and spent most of his childhood running around in the Kazekage’s Tower with Temari, both giggling and hiding from Baki, he moves to Konoha with his parents when he’s 15 and becomes friends with the rest of the konoha cool squad 8) in the year that follows.

- Azure Fang is pansexual with a preference towards girls, she likes to look after her appearance and strives for youth in organic ways, such as sitting in the onsen with the rest of her friends after a long day. She’s shy around boys, especially around Midnight when theyre hanging out in the hot springs. She spends some of her time in the hospital or sat with Crimson chatting away. She has a conservative fashion sense, which Breeze tries to discourage often telling her to “live a little Azure, show off your legs a little, you look really cute!” 

- Midnight Blade is the youngest of the konoha cool squad 8) he’s a year younger than the rest of them, he realised he was demisexual when Breeze tried to hook him up with Temari, claiming “she’s really cool and ive been friends with her for ages” “it’s not her, its me.” he says and gets really upset and Breeze works really hard to help him through it. Midnight really likes reading and Breeze often visits with some food in hand and a teasing smirk on his face. Midnight, contrary to popular belief sleeps really early, like 8pm early, he eats with the squad and then he’s pretty much off to bed after a few quick drills and a jog around the village 10 times (he’s fast like that) usually his friends will join him after theyve done their own little activities, but he’s always the first in bed. 

- Crimson Fist is the “coolest strong boi in all the nations” according to Breeze, its quite funny to him really. Crimson is tall, stubborn and loyal. He’s stable and dependable and that’s honestly such a typecast Breeze stop say that please. But he’s always there, ready for Scarlet’s meltdowns and Breeze’s inevitably heartbreaks and Midnight’s early morning stretches (that take way too much out of him he’s not old dammit!) and Azure’s soft laughter in the early hours of the morning when the sun hasn’t peeked over the sky. He’s always ready, a shoulder to cry on, a boulder to throw at the ones that hurt his precious people. 

- They really all start dating when Midnight hits 18 and Breeze kisses him on the lips and Azure has her hands wrapped around his torso and they’re all celebrating coming this far. There’s not really much of a difference Midnight thinks to himself, there’s just more handholding and lots more kisses on the cheek when theyre sat inside the ramen shop huddled together. Scarlet spends more time with the five of them instead of just training and there’s a lot more fun to be had. Midnight also realises that he sleeps a little later but that could just be that he’s becoming an adult and more vigilant (this is false and its just because he wants to spend more time with the others too) 

- They always fight over who pays for meals, even though they do have a system going Breeze likes to pay the most, so everyone lets him most times, but Azure likes to pull her weight and they often have a playful tiff while Teuchi smiles at them amused. 

- Midnight is an Aries, sometimes Ino jokes that Breeze should’ve been one too, something about how Breeze is the most arrogant non-Aries she’s ever met, Midnight agrees but then Breeze turns his puppy dog eyes to him and he’s left feeling a surge of affection and always reaches out for a quick peck on the lips. Midnight is headstrong and caring too, as much as Crimson is sometimes, just in a slightly different way, where Crimson is soft touches and lightened moods Midnight listens with his hands on theirs clutching tightly as he listens to the problems laid out in front of his. His way of helping is instant confrontation to the problem, he’d fought someone over something sillier he tells himself as he narrows his eyes and goes searing towards the threat to his favourites. 

 - Breeze is a Gemini, Ino calls him fake all the time, but Breeze just smiles wickedly and says a witty remarks about how Sasuke liked him more than her, and Ino always retaliates with something about how Sai has better skin than all the konoha cool squad 8) combined and it turns into a huge squabble. Breeze kinda gets it though, the two faced thing geminis have to deal with, it makes him conscious about his pronouns and his chest sometimes. The weird looks people give him when they’re told to use he/him instead of she/her, and when the gross lecherous ones get that grin on their face and when they try to touch... He grimaces to himself and Azure (bless her soul) always notices and is next to him in a second, possibly faster than the Yellow Flash himself, and has her hand on his cheek and is cooing the negativity away. 

- Azure is a Pisces, she’s fashionable and likes her privacy. Ino says that Azure is one of the nicest she’s had the pleasure of knowing, they hang out every second weekend if there isn’t a mission in the way. They call over Breeze and Sakura and shop for hours looking at different outfits and “does this make me look too shiny” “yeah you’re starting to look oily” “aw this sucks, it’s my colour too”. Azure also has her own feature wall in the Hokage Tower’s lobby, it’s got a big water feature in front of it and its painted with different hues of blue. Honestly being a pisces is just a stereotype, I swear!

- Crimson is a Taurus, and Ino always nods when he does something that “is exactly what a Taurus would do nice” and he rolls his eyes and chuckles heartily. Scarlet enjoys this thoroughly and often joins in with a cute nod of approval everytime Crimson picks up a boulder. Crimson is the one to go to for secrets that you want to get off your chest, he doesn’t tell and checks up on you so much, it brings Scarlet to tears whenever Crimson finds him sat at the kitchen table thinking about the Uchiha clan, and how he’s failed them (he hasn’t, Crimson knows that the clan is so proud of him) and he fixes him a cup of tea and tells him about a fight that’s gone down in a mission or how Breeze got caught in the laundry and tripped over in all his gracefulness and they have a quite giggle about it.

Crimson bakes, and he has baking companions (none of which are currently present at the moment) he’s really good at it says Chouji and Ino when they drop in for food. Sometimes he feels like a simple farmer feeding his animals whenever team 10 drops by. 

He’s made a monstrosity of a cake, it’s not even baked yet. It’s huge. He doesn’t know what to do with it. He needs to bake it somehow, but Scarlet isn’t home so he needs to find like someone who can do fire release... Maybe Iruka isn’t busy because it’s the weekend. No academy. With that thought in mind, he leaves to find the teacher. 

Iruka is in his office, because he apparently has no life outside of naruto and school. Crimson marches in and grabs him by the arm loudly proclaiming that he is in dire need of Iruka-sensei’s presence please come with me it’ll be quick i swear 

It is not quick. Iruka has been lied to (’conveniently deceived’) by an adult he trusts, a jounin he trusts. A jounin that has been drafted for anbu if the rumours are correct however...can you get into anbu if you’re utterly incompetent at reporting the mishappening that occur in your own home. Because, Iruka thinks, because Crimson Fist is one of the world’s most reknowned Earth: Release users and yet. 

The cake is huge, it is. It’s big and they had to take it outside using chakra enforced strength. It’s bigger than Iruka standing up and wider than three Irukas. Which is very funny but also not really when the academy teacher looks like he wants to rip him in half. 

“What the heck is this, Crimson?” Iruka continually asks through the adventure. He asks when he sees the cake, he asks when theyre lifting it out and through the front door, he asks when he’s made the hand seals for a slow burning fire release.

Breeze Dancer is really famous, really very famous. Like top notch A class famous. Except he’s SSS ranked and almost everyone in the elemental countries knows who he is. Devastatingly beautiful and strong, he’s up there with Sakura Haruno, Tsunade Senju and Mei Terumi. Which is very flattering, but he can’t help but wonder what the tabloids would think of this. 

He’s interrogating a border spy. A grass nin who’d made a deal with Iwa to “check it out” he’s unimpressed and even more so when this kid starts using the wrong pronouns. Disgusting. He knows peripherally that he’s had worse than this and this petty thing shouldn’t bother him as much. But it is. He hates it.

His anger builds and he sends his partner for the mission away for a few short minutes. 

He gets the information, but he keeps the spy. He does not kill him, as is protocol. No, he continues to torture him. He wants the spy to suffer. Naruto would be so disappointed in him. He stops when the sun dips below the horizon and kills the traitorous ninja and returns to the camp his partner had set up. 

Aoba looks up tiredly from the rations he’s picking through and sighs, he puts it down and sits next to Breeze. “what were you doing, you get the information and then you get out of there. there’s no time for personal feelings.” Aoba knows Breeze knows this. Then again, most don’t get away with telling Team 20 the rules. 

Breeze looks up, he looks distraught and very sad. Aoba rubs his shoulder soothingly and gets up again saying something about finding a rabbit to eat instead of nasty war food. It is his fault they only have rations, snacking while travelling is fun ok. Breeze smiles tightly and nods, he curls in on himself as Aoba hunts. 

When he’s back, Breeze has tears running down his face and Aoba jogs up to him with placating words and a gentle hand on the back. Aoba really wishes that there was another member of team 20 here, because he doesn’t really know how to deal with dysphoria.

It’s a miracle that Tsunade can get any work done when the majority of team 20 is in konoha. The purest joy she ever feels is when there is a team mission and she can just send them away and out of sight. However, only Breeze Dancer is on an out-of-village mission and her blood pressure rises with each day. 

Scarlet Blaze and Azure Fang are often inside the hospital, with varying reasons. Today it seems, is to make a hokage want to declare a loyal shinobi a fucking missing nin. The two have pushed three beds together up against the wall and surrounded themselves with everything that wasn’t bolted to the floor. They’ve made a medical forest and they’re giggling in the midst of it. Tsunade is mad. 

“What the actual fuck are you doing” she sorta yells, but not really because this is still a hospital, with feeling. Their heads poke up and she can see them through the tubes and windows theyd created by precariously balancing trays with things still in them on heart monitors. It’s a picture made for incredulity, she hates it. 

“Tsunade-sama we’re just” Fang trails off, thinking of an excuse. An excuse does not come and there’s a short minute of silence and then a puff of smoke and the sound of water and really this is exactly why she did not want to be hokage, konoha shinobi are the Worst.

Kakashi has two favourites, it’s Midnight Blade and Genma Shiranui who he is currently talking to. It’s a nice pleasant morning, he hasn’t turned in his mission report but he can do that later. The conversation turns to Midnight’s significant others, because there’s always some form of drama or fun going on there. It usually takes a few hours for Midnight to finish retelling the stories of the day. Kakashi is happy he isn’t apart of that, he likes watching just fine. 

However, the three of them are pulled into some sort of madness when Azure and Scarlet appear next to them. The duo start sprinting towards training field 20 which is ‘the most epic training field for legends only keep out losers that means you naruto’ obviously coined by Breeze, the small caricatures of team 20 drawn by Crimson.  

Midnight puts his hand over his sword and he’s running after them. Genma sighs and looks over at Kakashi and they both walk slowly after them, wanting to see this happen but also the three need supervision. There’s really no entrance to this training field and today there is no floor either. The floor had been refilled and reconstructed a lot, because team 20 is extraordinarily powerful and they probably have more ninjutsu between them than kakashi knows. 

Team 20 is probably one of the worst things to ever face and when they are sent out as the entire cohort it’s probably for something really serious. It’s a terrifying thought if one of them were to defect... he doesn’t like to think about it. 

Kakashi surveys the field, Midnight is stood on top of a fiery pit and the other two are attempting to form some sort of lava? it’s a weird image and Kakashi knows that they’ve been working on a fire-water dragon combo but apparently it’s not going along well. Kakashi is a little amused because Midnight has his armour up and is also attempting to stand on the flame water. 

Scarzure are whispering frantically together and they try again and a huge fucking orange water dragon just burst out of the pit and it breathes fire and Midnight falls off the tiny rock he’s stood on and lands on the dragon and he’s flying on the firewater hell dragon. 

“what the fuck are you doing” Kakashi asks reverently, Genma is stood shocked next to him and Midnight is laughing loudly and apparently he can control the dragon and he’s just bouncing around. What the fuck.

Somehow Azure has enough chakra to make another smaller water dragon, and that’s now flying around too. There’s a big silent ‘What The Fuck Is Going On’ in the air, it is really funny to see Kakashi lose his shit over the amount of inanimate dragons flowing around. There’s Hell Dragon and Water Dragon and they should get Sasuke so he can bring Kirin and hoo boy that’ll be fun. 

Azure ponders whether she can get Midnight to learn Kirin and then they could make an ultimate dragon. 

Sasuke Uchiha is unfortunate. He hears the loud shouting from training ground 20 and he gets curious, he really shouldn’t be. But he is. He knows it’s going to be a pain in the ass, because no doubt team 20 is there and messing around. Which would definitely move to sex back at their huge house, he doesn’t want to know. 

The training ground is, well, it’s not really there. And even if there is the occasional tree, the tree would be on fire and smoking. Sasuke isn’t surprised, at all this is really to be expected. Azure spots him first and perks up and is almost glowing, but that could just be the sheer amout of water surrounding her. 

He stumbles over dodging the huge dragons? literally what the fuck is that orange one. 

“what are you doing, what’s going on” he asks, because he’s here and probably won’t leave until they all get bored. Azure is suddenly talking, very fast. Super fast that he isn’t catching any of the words. She does however convince him to summon Kirin and she joins the other dragons and now there’s three.

Aoba and Breeze get back to konoha in the evening. Aoba says that he’ll deliver the report to the mission desk and lets Breeze go with a quick see you hope you feel better soon go find the rest of your partners. 

Breeze goes home first, gets changed into something a lot more comfortable and heads back out again, looking for the konoha cool squad 8)’s chakra. They’re in the training ground. Except for Crimson he’s on the hokage monument? for whatever reason, Breeze would go say hi afterwards. He leaves the house and very carefully does not look at whatever is going on in the front yard. 

The training ground is much deeper than he remembers, there’s like steps down to where the group is. It’s like a party. He’s impressed w the is that four chakra dragons wow and he just is glad he’s home. 

The sun is down and Scarlet realises that he is actually really hungry. Crimson had come to join them at some point and they were all sparring w the almost sentient dragons, which is very dangerous but he’s loving it. foreplay, Breeze calls it and he’s not wrong. 

They return home with two dragons behind them, Midnight has not gotten down from the hell dragon which is hilarious. They stop in front of the huge boulderesque thing that’s sat in front of the front door. Crimson is the first to start yelling in shock. 

“What the heck is this, wha, i, what... what’s going on i thought i, what??” Crimson sounds distressed so they move the alleged cake inside.
