The Incredibly Deadly Viper- a snake that did not live up to his name by any means. He was the most peaceful snake that ever was, so friendly and smart that he would never bring harm to anyone. [Even though he did look quite scary.] However his harmless nature might have led to the start of his downfall.. Another reptile in Dr. Montgomery Montgomery’s reptile room did not take kind to having the man always gushing and loving the large serpent. Plus, that thing rarely got in trouble if found out of his cage! [It did not take long for the clever thing to figure out how the lock worked.] And so out of jealously and spite, the reptile strike- and much to his delight, the viper did not fight back, merely.. he just tried to get away. The incredibly deadly viper of course could easily crush his attacker, but he was not a monster. Merely, he escaped from the reptile room and called out for help. Gustav thankfully was near by, and after getting Monty, they separated the two animals. They fixed Ink up, allowed the snake to stay in bed with Gustav.. but the grudge the other reptile had did not fade. Noise in the reptile room always alerted Monty or Gustav-sometimes both-and they always found Ink trying to get away from his attacker. It was amazing to see such a snake not even trying to fight back, but the poor thing was getting hurt- and needed to go somewhere to recover while the two men dealt with the other reptile.. and well, the mess of the reptile room from the two’s struggle. Montgomery finally decided on calling a friend of the snake, and asked her to come and take the great viper away so he could recover.. and so the two men could make the viper’s home a safe one for when he returned.
