We all did well and showed improvement! YEAH! Phew one done and hopefully thousands to come over a life time. Nervous but confident. My Steve came and practiced with us new teachers and was impressed with our class management and script delivery he felt safe! One of our peers had her first Fierce Grace cover class tonight and she did amazingly way a true inspiration one of the lads from our course describes the class in our Fierce Family Whatsapp grp. So pleased for her she was so nervous yesterday but has the skills and the voice to master it and she did! So cause to celebrate as she described it as getting her cherry popped! With that in mind I’m am so nervous for when my cherry popping time is due but I will be ready so hopefully it won’t be a dread experience. Tomorrow there is teaching practice at Fierce Grace North, I will practice Karens class at 5pm and assist Michele in her 6.45pm Fierce Grace Class at Primrose Hill.. She always has a packed class which means a possible 60 people, always a mixture of abilities and new starters on sure there be a lot of different things I will have to chose wisely to assist with. I’m just trying to remember the basics like don’t walk around during balancing postures. Let’s pray for optimum health in the room tomorrow. Just refreshing my self with my script and practicing delivery to music.. Much fun.. I need to be prepared if Michele asks me to teach a few postures. All songs I selected for my playlist that I know or like have bed removed all songs with too many words have gone but I’m feeling it still heavily loaded with Nitin Sawnhey, bit of Bob and Sufferah Riddim it will be fine :) Back to working part time for Concur Technologies Inc. in the morning as a Revenue Operational Specialist. Money’s needed so until 1st May I have this contract which should hopefully tie in with when I start to get yoga cover work and with Gods will a couple of hours permanent slots! 💜FG Namaste 💜

Graduation day! 13/3/2014 we all passed and all became qualified certified Fierce Grace Hot Yoga teachers! What an amazing day, the past two years I have been working hard for this and now I reach! My day started with a 10am hair appointment cut and curl, I needed to do my hair as I had little 9yr bun on my head hair style for a month. No point blowing out Afro hair then to sit in a hot room for 7hrs a day would just revert the hair back to Afro state and that would be too distressful and damaging to my hair. So I felt like me again after a decent sleep and lots of water to flush the previous evening wine away.. I went on to Omaes house after the salon to get ready as she doesn't live far from where we had our graduation ceremony. I couldn't wait to wear my dress and heels to feel polished after a month of sweating and rolling on the floor it was nice to have a good pamper and be with good people all day. 3 glasses of wine is my limit these days but then the champers came out, cigars, secret social smokers. Every one was very merry instantly, I'm not surprised end of an epic journey, 4wk of total detoxification and then we start drinking champagne at 2pm. Ha! Everybody looked beautiful, so well turned out that it nearly made me cry! We see each other naked, in trackies, looking our worst, looking our best, we have shared personal things with the group, we've bared our souls, cried and laughed hard together. Every soul is truly my good friend and thank god the feeling is mutual all round. We ate a beautiful Indian lunch and then started to receive our certificates. This was the best day of my year so far, maybe the last two years! So happy to finally have the career of my dreams to embark on. Drink, laughter & discussions all around all day and nite. I will never forget a soul from this first Fierce Grace Hot Yoga Teacher Training course! I am also thankful for this privilege to be taught the Fierce Grace philosophy and series by the director/owner of Fierce Grace, she is a Guru I say that with 100% certainty. She is the UK's first Hot yoga specialist, Michele Pernetta was a leader for Bikram Yoga for the past 20 plus years! Since November 2013 she decided to launch her own hot yoga series called Fierce Grace and it already has others who have opened studios and franchised! Trainees came from Brazil, France, Majorca, Ireland to do this course! This series is speedily taking over - because it works! The knowledge Pernetta holds and wisdom she has came from her teachers and gurus which are some of the best. I can only say thank you to Michele for giving me this opportunity -I'm part of that history and I got to get her teachings first hand from the lion heart herself! I will not be blogging for a few days. Well yesterday the 12/3 ended with our teaching exam and a warm up pre party with wine and laughter in Primrose Hill. This is why I just couldn't blog last nite #thewine sorry guys! What a beautiful day! Apart from The sub being out and all the trainees energy being on the biggest high the main reason was the meditation for me. We meditated for around 30 minutes, each of us have different meditation practice some don't meditate and are just starting to practice. The meditation we did that roots lie in the heart and meditating on a emotion was lead by Guru Pernetta. After some spoke of their feelings and experience during meditation and most ended up sobbing including my self. When Michele Pernetta discussed death I instantly remember my Dad. I felt physically sick and tears started rolling. 20 minutes after this we all had our last class together lead by Guru Bellfield, just what we all needed! It was a great class and another cool song playlist with good old Bib Marley making an appearance.. After a sweat a stretch and a bop sway we showered and prepared for our teaching exam .., Lovely lunch sitting out in the sun @chloescafeonprimrosehill. Then into the studio to get ready and set up for exam. I paired up with the beautiful Ozlem and decided to be the person on the mat being taught first, she agreed, she also lead me through a beautiful class. During my exam there were three occasions were I stood for around thirty seconds getting my practitioner to drink water whilst I remember what was coming next in the floor series.., I may of thrown in an extra savasana in there 💜 We clapped and cheered, this was our last lesson, we took a shed load of pictures, ate some lovely treats set up by the sexy studio manager Patrice. Got showered and left for the pub. Most planned to stay for one hour mist left after three some stayed on longer and had a meal. Well I'm up now on day 22 waxing my legs painting my nails and blogging #superwoman; getting read for the hairdressers at 10am the to Omaes to get my dress on and make up, then down the road to meet my new Fierce Grace family as a whole group probably for the last time for the foreseeable future! We gonna eat we gonna graduate we gonna DANCE. Today I will become a certified Fierce Grace Hot Yoga Teacher, this is what the last two years have been geared towards, changed my while life hot yoga especially Fierce Grace for the better! Such a lovely day! Such a beautiful vibe! I think most trainees spent the weekend revising their scripts so we are prepared for our exam on Wednesday. Written exam tomorrow, looking forward to it! We have to learn the Sanskrit for the postures.. My best pal is Indian he taught me the Sanskrit for the Bikram yoga series and how to pronounce them 3yrs back 💜 guru Chauhan! So I got good grounding for those questions :) Today I did class with Guru Croft she has the coolest playlist I was going in to the warrior series shaking my ares to Some "ole skool soul" she taught a beautiful class.. and I practiced the Beast class with Guru Pernetta, Pernetta is just amazing with her bendy body! My sprained toe had a few twinges but much better. I was just glad to back doing what I love which is enjoy a class and have a proper sweat. I grazed all day fruit oranges blueberries banana and a lovely salmon and soft cheese rocket and spinach seedy bread sarny.. After the beast class we went to "my village cafe" in Camden and bought a smoothie and falafel wrap and all things yummy. Movie night 7-7.30, we watched the anatomy video but if I'm honest I completed homework and revised.

What a good day! I missed my morning practice as my toe not well :) but the afternoon was needed! I hurried to posture clinic at the Primrose Hill studio in a cab but got as far as the coffee shop @earlybird in Chalk Farm and collected my 6 boxes of Jasmine tea and bought a coffee! And a peanut butter cookie! Yummmmmmi Today's posture clinic with Guru Pernetta, Bellfield and Croft focused on going through all the injuries and key locations in the body and how we would modify the pose to suit all practitioners different abilities. I then observed the next class it was a beautiful class and lovely smiley happy Mel was back from South Africa and glowing golden! She taught a great class and practitioners work well nice group energy. Can't believe yesterday was my last anatomy class on the course, today I did my last observation and tonight we had our last Hindu Philosophy class. This evening Guru Cherry (Pete) tied together all our previous learnings and we finally got to discuss asanas. The learning and reading continues for life. My first delve in to Hinduism started bck in my Uni days and now it's a serious part of my daily way of thinking thanks to Pete Cherry. After tomorrow's lectures we have 3days then Graduation 👀 I have to do my catch up class tomorrow and then revision time for final exams with fellow trainee Daley Pritchard 💙 Nameste 💜
