Tea Date!
It's been a while since we've done one of these (unrelated: web cams are easier to take photos on than phones but the picture quality is not great)!
I really wish we could all sit around and have coffee or tea or bagels tumblr, it would be so fun! I WILL get to do that on Sunday with some of you at the Jingle All the Way 5k ( katebikerun, runningwithcrohns, and emilydoesscience) ! Anybody else doing it?
Speaking of 5ks, I turkey trotted last week and had an aaaaawesome 5k. It wasn't a PR but lookit that third mile! Whaaaaat? Blazing fast for me.
Four day weekends should be more of a thing.
Reno in a week and a half! Yes, the countdown will continue. I CAN'T WAIT.
I had my last swimming lesson last night and am super bummed about it. It was such a good experience and I think I really did learn a lot. I am going to sign up again for the session that starts in January.
Swimming last night did leave me fatigued on my run this morning. But hey, at least it was dry outside and not freezing rain! I'll take it!
I'm doing whole30 again (kinda sorta. As in, 95% of the time but sometimes there are beans in your soup or you are at a dinner party and things just can't be helped).
After being a brat about some things the day before Thanksgiving (you all saw a part of it), angeldrinkstea wrote me such a lovely note about being thankful for friendship on Thanksgiving morning that I spent the day paying it forward and texting and calling other people to tell them what I was thankful for with them. I should have written something here but it's a bit belated now. Suffice to say, you are all the best and I am so so glad to be a part of this little niche on the interwebs.
