how does beta testing work?
For everyone who's been wondering what beta testing involves, the wait is over: we're officially opening recruitment for beta testers!
What's expected of a beta tester?
You'll get early access to our pre-release chapters. Your role will be to identify bugs and typos, and provide feedback on your experience while playing a specific route.
👉 This requires discretion (you'll not be able to share publicly about what you read) and attention to detail.
We'll do our best to assign you your favorite LI, but you might need to play in a way that's different from your natural choices (moral compass, good/bad decisions, etc...).
You must be 18+ and have either a computer (PC, Linux, or Mac) or an Android phone/tablet.
Location doesn't matter, but your English needs to be pretty solid (native speakers are ideal).
You should also be able to provide feedback promptly after receiving a test file. Each chapter takes about 45 minutes to complete, and since typo-checking is involved, you'll need to read carefully.
📝 If you meet these criteria, fill out the form [by clicking here] and we'll contact you if you're selected.
When will beta testing start?
We're expecting to set everything up in May.
Unfortunately, we can't offer payment as we're all volunteers on this project.
Will I be able to help with the story or give my opinion?
Your suggestions are always welcome and will be carefully considered, though please keep in mind that final creative decisions rest with our team.
And if I have any other question?
Don't hesitate to comment this post or drop an ask!
