Meet the first of our new original character : Saffron!

Hello there 👋

Good news: you can romance as many LI as you want, however you like, with no restrictions at all! The only thing to keep in mind is that the other characters won't acknowledge that you're dating multiple people at once (there's no in-game recognition of polyamory).

Here's how the romance system works: each LI has a romance score. Romantic interactions (like little gestures or extra dialogue) unlock once someone reaches 5 points. When you pick a "main LI" in Chapter 01, they automatically start with 5 points, so their romantic interactions begin right away. For any other LIs you want to romance, you'll need to build their score by choosing the heart ♥ options during the story.

Example: If you're romancing both Beckett and Shreya and they've both reached 5 points, they'll both show romantic behavior toward you.

If you want to start fresh, don't choose anyone in Chapter 01, and simply pick the romance options in the following chapters: everyone starts from zero that way!

We wanted to address recent PB announcement to release a third Book for The Elementalists.

But before we get there, we must give you a bit of context!

📚 Story Time

Our project officially started in September 2023, not long after the full release of the It Lives Project (It lives within). It heavily inspired us to start a fanmade project of our own, and The Elementalists were lacking a proper ending (especially with all the loose ends Book 1 and 2 left).

Back then, an official release by PB was completely off the table, and we didn’t even think they could change their mind.

Since then, the project had its ups and downs regarding progress, but we had settle pretty quickly on the story line and where we wanted the story to go. 2024 was a pretty busy year for all of our team, so the project stalled.

By the start of 2025, we had a creative breakthrough and we decided to give ourselves better direction. It was also time to start communicating. But then came the news… on the 17th June 2025, PB announced a vote competition to bring a sequel for TE or ES, and on the 17th July, we all learned that TE won.

As much as we’re happy as fans of the serie, it still took a massive toll on the team. We started to seriously second guess our project.

We won’t lie, the incredible participation and positivity bring some of us to tears, and it made wonders for our morales. We thanks all of you for your kind messages.
