NEED👏THAT👏MAN👏PREGNANT *SEASON TWO* ROUND 2 POLL 41
TUMBLR! Who's getting pregnant?
Li Yu (The Disabled Tyrant’s Beloved Pet Fish)
Prince Hamlet (The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark)
PROPAGANDA:
[Li Yu]
"The book's mpreg was deeply underwhelming."
"This man is a baby-making machine. Canonically he has given birth to four fish eggs and one human baby (that was an accident! He has no regrets though). Would love for him to give birth to another baby on purpose. Also for him to get knocked up as either a merman OR a manmer. (Please see the included picture reference of his manmer form — the third picture in the reddit thread I linked). He's a very cute bottom AND fish! Yay!"
Li Yu propaganda from last season
[Hamlet]
"Just. The tragedy of him losing his father, only to come to the realization that he himself is about to become a father. The added tension to his relationship with Ophelia, especially if she isn’t the one who got him pregnant. His oscillation between prudishness and sluttiness."
Bonus: Here's Hamlet, caked THE FUCK up while talking to his momma Gertrude about his father's ghost, painted by Nicolai A. Abildgaard. c. 1778
so this is how their meeting went right
recently read the fish danmei and i’ve fallen in love with li yu! i was very sad at the lack of fics for the fandom, so i’m working on a couple ideas and we’ll see if anything sticks ^-^ for now, enjoy this very simple meme that took me far too long to make
Guy who's never been around fish before when he finds out that his pet fish likes to jump out of its tank to take "walks" around his bedroom: Oh no :( .......we need to put bowls of water around on the floor to make things easier for him...what if he falls on the floor and can't get back into his tank?

I really do love how when Prince Jing figures out that his fish might be a carp spirit, he’s so down to do whatever so his fish can cultivate, even if he might die from it.
Like, your fish might be a demon that wants to suck your essence or life force, and normal people would probably want to get rid of their fish if that was the case. But not Prince Jing, No! Instead he’s more than willing to give his essence to Xiao Yu, he’s even disappointed when Xiao Yu gives one little kiss instead of the full essence absorbing session he was expecting lmao.
The other princes are out here trying to kill or get rid of Prince Jing, but Prince Jing is out here TRYING to get his essence sucked 😭. He really showed that if he was gonna die from a carp spirit, then at least he wouldn’t die a virgin, lmaoo
li yu: i hope prince jing thinks im just a regular fish and not a demon :///
prince jing: why won't the carp spirit take my essence my lips are out in the open >:(((((
I would kill for Dabao, but maybe it's just me. I'm actually a bit enraged for the seven years he has to wait to return to the form he feels is most natural and comfortable, for him to be able to be himself fully in some way. He's trapped in an infant, human body. The poor soul. It's clearly shown that all of the children have psyches that exceed the abilities of humans due to their time as fish, but Erbao and Sanbao are roughly toddler-aged in maturity while Sibao is still a baby. Dabao shows critical thinking and analysis that some kindergarteners cannot manage. I just find him very fascinating, how he already encapsulates a good heir, textbook older brother/sibling, and avid scholar. I hope we get to hear tons more on these baby fish.
(I'm not finished reading the third book yet but I'm on chapter 103 and enjoying myself immensely)
