no one asked for my opinion on jason todd and marriage but im going to give it anyway
so jason has always read catholic to me, specifically irish catholic but also super lapsed, not remotely practicing. like, once catherine died I dont think he went to church. I also think he isn't religious at all really, but in regards to catholicism I think some stuff has stuck with him. says prayers some times, he's got rosary beads burried somewhere, might have a simple cross or saints necklace or bracelet. says stuff like "and jesus wept" in sarcasm. pops by a holiday mass once in a blue moon. anyway
I do think marriage is a serious thing to him. like, its Marriage. it symbolizes something to him, it carries weight and its not to be considered lightly. I dont think a ceremony or big wedding means much to him, but the physical symbol of wearing rings, and the idea of having a life long partner, someone he has full trust in and vice versa, someone who he'd have absolute commitment and loyalty with. the solidity of a partnership with his person, is something I think he would hold as sacred.
