And while the latter wasn’t yet known to Erik, it surely wouldn’t go over well. No, Wanda wasn’t excited at all. She was nervous to be in the same room as them together. Did Charles already know? If he did, surely he’d know it wasn’t anything personal... It was just to help David.

    Swallowing the lump in her throat, she finally decided to speak up. “Is he alright? David, I mean.” Whether it was out of nervousness or whatever odd codependent relationship they had formed, it felt worse that she was talking to the two without him.
