Disney Streaming Services And 20th Television Animation Set Development Order For "The Kids From S.I.P.P.Y." From "We Bare Bears" Alumni Branson Reese & Nicole Silverberg.

Hulu's animation catalog is expanding more with the development order of "The Kids From S.I.P.P.Y." an original action-adventure comedy series created by Branson Reese (Cartoon Network "We Bare Bears" franchise) and Nicole Silverberg (TBS "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee").

Nicole Silverberg also co-created the Netflix Animation Studios adult series "BAD CRIMES" who sadly was scrapped during mid-production in October 2022 as part of Netflix Animation's cuts.

"The Kids From S.I.P.P.Y." follows three misfit high school freshmen who are recruited for an elite secret spy school.

"The Kids From S.I.P.P.Y."  joins 20th Television Animation’s development slate for original animated series for Hulu.

Other projects include "Swamp Meet" created by comedian Ralph Barbosa and Isaac Gonzales (Cartoon Network Studios “Victor & Valentino”), “Bad Friends” inspired by the podcast of the same name with Andres Salaff (Cartoon Network Studios “Regular Show”, Nickelodeon Animation Studios “Harvey Beaks”) as executive producer and showrunner and “Journey To The Center Of The Internet” created by on Nick Kreiss and Nick Smith.

In case you blinked and missed the first season of the TBS comedy anthology series Miracle Workers, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, Karan Soni, Jon Bass and Lolly Adefope, the show returns on Tuesday, Jan. 28 (10:30 pm PT) for its second season. 

Created by writer Simon Rich and executive produced by SNL’s Lorne Michaels, Miracle Workers: Dark Ages focuses on a group of medieval villagers “trying to stay positive in an age of extreme income inequality, poor healthcare, and widespread ignorance.” And they’re trying not to get killed. 

The 10-episode season features the same cast as season one, but the actors are taking on totally different roles and storylines. 

The first season was based on Rich’s novel What in God's Name and featured Buscemi as a checked out God, leaving a low-level angel (Radcliffe) and a new transfer (Geraldine Viswanathan) to save the Earth by creating a miracle.

To celebrate the show’s second season premiere, TBS is hosts a medieval mead donut stand, complete with period music on Tuesday (Jan. 28) from 11 am to 3 pm. 

TV fans and guests can get a complimentary, whimsical, mead-glazed donut created by Chef Wylie Dufresne (Du's Donuts). He crafted these donuts using a custom batch of mead—"The Meadieval"—from Dylan Sprouse’s Brooklyn-based All-Wise Meadery.
