#TBRtrim20 📚 These are actually my July books which I read in July but have completely forgotten to post 😅 OLD: Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern 💌💌💌 aka Love, Rosie - I haven't seen the movie so I flicked through the ending of the movie on Netflix and despite the book taking longer to get to the resolution, I'd prefer the book. Seriously though I wish the book ends 1/3 earlier than it did 😏 NEW: The Court of Miracles by Kester Grant 😻😻😻😻 I loved that it's set during the French Revolution (one of my fave!) with an underworld twist. I have read Les Mis so that was another point of interest; all power to Eponine! And they were both 500+ pages 🤣 OLD: The Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko 🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️🧛‍♂️ One of those books I bought thinking, I want to read this before I watch the movie. As you know the movie was a long time ago so I've had this book for at least that long! Glad that I now can say that I've read it. I may or may not watch the movie... It was a lot more philosophical & the ending deserves the biggest eye roll *sighs* NEW: Mutiny on the Bounty by Peter FitzSimons 🛶🛶🛶 Not mu usual but I do sometimes try to read about history 😅 I enjoyed author's style of narrative prose. He made side (& sometimes snide) comments, sometimes, so that adds a bit of humour & enliven the tale for me. #TBRtrim20 I've been very disciplined reading my old and new each month for this challenge 😇 How are you guys doing? For some reason (total coincidence, of course), both titles have "dead" on them 💁‍♀️ NEW: Find Them Dead by Peter James 👮‍♂️ I took the chance reading this 16th book in the series even if I've not read book 1! Thrilling suspense for sure though I did think it was supposed to be police procedural but felt more like legal thriller 🤔 Full review on the blog (link as usual).
