What are you reading this week? Since it’s a holiday this week, I’ll have more free time than I usually have so I plan on getting into the final book of the Green Bone Saga: Jade Legacy by Fonda Lee. Thanks @orbitbooks_us for the gifted read. I only started a little bit over the weekend since my mental health has been wobbly, but I’m loving it so far. It’s also a pretty lengthy book which makes sense since it is the finale and there’s probably a lot to cover, so I’m glad to have the week to take my time and savor it. Do you read long books? 📖 . Happy Saturday! What is a book or series that took forever for you to read? •——————————————————————————• The Outlander series has taken me forever! I started Outlander in 2015 I think and flew through the first 3 books (I’ve actually read the first several times) and when the story slowed down so did I 😂 I’m averaging like a year per book now? I was reading them on my lunches at work and then covid/layoff/2020 happened. I’m currently on An Echo in the Bone (lime green guy) and I think we’re at 2 years now 🤣 I’ll finish eventually, she’s still working on the last book so I have time! And I think I’m still ahead of the T.V. This book scares the pants off me!! Not only because it’s a hefty size but also because I’ve read some of the authors other books and they are deep!! Don’t get me wrong I will conquer this beast...at some point...and definitely on my kindle!! But until then I’ll stick to my nice 400-600 page books!!
