No handholding, no kiss, not even a hug... but we did get a goofy head on his shoulder. It counts for something, right?

Arun and Tattoo and their dynamic are killing me, Arun crocheting while Tattoo tinkers, the way that Tattoo didn't know how to comfort crying Arun properly but was trying to figure it out before Hoy busted into the room, then the way he physically seperated Hoy and Arun but it didn't even feel like jealousy, just that even if he didn't know what to do to comfort Arun yet, he knew that Arun needed him in some way more than he needed Hoy's shoulder to cry on, and he didn't know how to be soft comfort for Arun but he found a way to bring Arun out of his tears and help him that way instead, A+++++++ these boyyyyyyyyyyyys
Tattoo crowning Arun his princess, ft. Arun's little princess wave
Jack & Joke aside, Aran & Tattoo are the side couple I’m betting on~!
There’s something about the rich boy turned hopeless running to the arms of a poor boy who reluctantly takes him under his wings. Aran just wants love, and Tattoo, he just wants to reach the surface of poverty so he can live better with his mom. It’s another dynamic that almost mirrors Jack & Joke, but the difference is their personalities & the lifeline they built around the person they somehow met & chose to call home.
Aran may be a spoiled prince, but what he really wants is to be spoiled with affection money can’t buy. Tattoo may be poor af, selfish at times, but he has the ability to care for those he really deems close to his heart. And he’s learning that opportunities can arise, & he finally has friends that he can count on despite their hardships. And that, he & Aran can complete the puzzle piece called life&love. They have what each other needs & wants.
We also already saw them move a bit faster than Jack & Joke—although we don’t know the whole story as we only see glimpses of them and can only imply (i’m pretty sure they slept together). But you can tell there was a change from the first night Aran slept over to the most recent episode where they practically act like an awkward married couple (who had their newlywed night).
I just want Aran to find love & acceptance, one he lost when he lost his mother. In some ways, he & Joke are the same—always being rejected by their fathers. For Aran however, he has his mob boss dad who only has money in his mind & not once had he showed he ever had any love remaining for his only son. So Aran finds it in different ways, using money to gain the affection he desperately craves. And he’s ultimately still himself, & we can argue maybe his genuine self now that he’s away from the clutches of his father. And maybe he’ll find it in Tattoo & the rest of the little village. That he doesn’t need to flaunt money to gain love.
