We love getting attached to background characters ahehehe. Aftermath Lime is such an interesting character! I feel like quite a few of the aftermath characters didn’t get quite as much character development as the consequences crew characters (there are parts of aftermath I’d love to go back and refine), but there’s really a lot of interesting potential and background between them given the circumstances of their mission.
I wasn’t familiar with the ‘winner takes it all trend’, I deleted TikTok like a year ago lol, but I just looked it up and yeah I can see it, especially given the circumstances of aftermath!
Some fun facts and personality headcanons about her (…or are they just canons since I’m the author??)
she played multiple competitive sports growing up, and was pretty good at them
she’s blunt and will be brutally honest with you, for better or for worse. this is both because of her personality… and the fact that she’s kind of an awful liar
she doesn’t trust easily, even before the events of the series, mostly because she doesn’t tend to see others as as competent as her
her specialty on the AFTRMF crew was comms & security. while in transit to polus on their crew’s version of the skeld, she’d often complain about how far the rooms were from each other and having to walk back and forth between them. (because MIRA tried to cut corners wherever they could, they’d often give their astronauts multiple roles to perform)
she’s secretly a little jealous that everyone seems to listen to Green instead of her, and will find multiple excuses as to why this must be the case
she’s actually quite smart which is how she got on the mission in the first place, but will do dumb things sometimes when her ego gets in the way
she initially didn’t like her hat, she had forgotten to bring one with her and managed to find this one lying around at HQ on launch day, but has since grown to be pretty attached to it
