Come check out the fireworks festival, and watch explosions fly within the group attending, as Niibashi frets over whether he only gets this summer with Tashiro to feel a sudden, passionate, and all consuming love... Or if there's a chance he might just get one more🤞

He wasn't thinking when he approached the model, who gathered his things up. "Excuse me, would you mind staying just another 30 minutes?" And then, because he thought incentive would help added, "I'll buy you a drink after. You're a good model." 

Niibashi didn't compliment often, and it felt foreign on his tongue. 

"For real? Absolutely!" He was all but jumping in place. "I needed an excuse to skip ping pong club, if I'm being honest." He shot a quick text off and turned his attention to Niibashi once more, hand extended. "Tashiro Gonzaburo, by the way." 

 He responded in kind. "Niibashi Juuya." 

And it's all... sort of... turned a little different?

It's good! It's GREAT, actually!

There's more meat in this event I had only planned to write something fun and frivolous for.

This is both literally in the story, and also in word count.

I think this is what TashiBashi does to me.

I can't just STOP at 1k, or even 2!

I have to massage the conversation until they can do nothing more than drown in each other's presence.

These two are wild forces, changing one another in the wake of each other's storm.

To honor our little socially curious, creative sass master with a heart of gold and a stubborn honesty that gives him an obstinate patience...

I basically sequestered myself in my bedroom for two hours and poured out 2k of delicious TashiBashi getting-to-know-each-other.

I tried to keep it fluffy

I can't keep away from a LITTLE angst!

I need them to want one another for what the other sees, that they've never felt SEEN for before.

I'm flustering myself with this chapter. OOF! How am I going to handle the next one?!

Because that's where I throw these boys into their summer fling

In this chapter, there are a few things that Tashiro realizes there's only one of: One comforter making him cozy and warm; A single bed that is definitely not his, but he doesn't mind sharing, because there is; The only person he can't keep his eyes off, lying next to him. Tashiro is more than happy to have only one of something, if that something is Niibashi Juuya.
