That turning point from one day to the next.

So Shirahama said he'd remember it the next day, then.

Which made Tashiro blink nearly twenty times.

Shirahama counted.

Then Tashiro laughed, and his smile reached the sun.

Also whether or not Tashiro is upset is one thing but I'm getting the feeling that someoneeee is salty they had the same choice and then Tashiro changed his mind...

That but Shirahama and the things he sees in girlie games so he tries to emulate them, and on Tashiro makes it way funnier because Shirahama is completely clueless and doesn't know what to do with himself so he's trying to act like a shoujo main love interest because that's all he's learned about what he should do to be more boyfriend like, and he doesn't know how to just chill ffs and Tashiro just laughs at him and roasts him because this is insanity. And if it were Miyano instead I think he would still laugh at him for the terrible goofy execution of cool lines but like fondly in a "oh, I love you 🙂‍↕️" way
