A fair warning: Nine is a character born of trauma, and struggles with C-PTSD, survivor’s guilt, depression, and suicidal tendencies. These things aren’t always up front or even a major factor. In fact, he can be such a goof it can be easy to forget that he’s basically a war veteran. But it can also get heavy, and I do not shy away from dealing with these topics in threads if and when necessary. I will do my best to tag these things as they come up (tagged as ‘tw: [x]’), but I am human and may forget.

I am so slow; Glaciers can move faster than me sometimes. This is in part due to me being over 21 and so not always having the time to sit down and write (and IRL stuff takes priority). The other part is that, as much as I love Nine, writing him often demands a lot of spoons - spoons that I may not generally have available. When the stars do align, it all depends on what he and I are vibing with. That being said, if you are curious as to what the status of a thread is, please don’t be shy to ask. It is possible that I’ve just forgotten! For both reasons listed above, this blog is semi-selective(ish), but that is not a reflection on you friend. There are extremely good chances that I have the thread stored in my drafts for the time when Nine will be like ‘That One!’ Also, also: never feel bad for taking your time. I am as patient as I am slow, and I can guarantee you I will get excited when I see your reply, no matter how much time has passed. If you need additional info or want to change something, I am always down to discuss stuff in DMs, and it’s perfectly OK if you want to drop it too.

Mun and muse are 21+; while we are open to dabbling with darker themes (violence, etc.), I won’t write NSFW/Smut.

Please read the ‘Time Lines’ and 'Relationships’ pages, as my Nine is canon-divergent and there are some pretty major differences with his lore vs current show lore.

Feel free to turn ask memes into threads! You can either reblog the ask or create a new post, I’m fine with either :)

I’m OK with NPCs and light god-modding (i.e. if your muse asked Nine to pass them something, it’s safe for you to assume he did); heavy god-modding is generally a no-go unless we’ve discussed the scenario before hand

Non-RP blogs: You are welcome to interact! Like threads, leave comments, and ask questions/send memes! The only thing I will ask is that you don’t reblog threads or asks that double as starters. If you’re not sure, feel free to ask. I appreciate the love, but reblogging can throw the rhythm off and potentially bury our partners’ notification.
