Those awkward “straight” men letting me know they are interested

Dear god, I don’t know if I’ve ever used the word “insufferable,” when describing a documentary, but that’s exactly what these women are. I should’ve known when the one started crying, before they even started, because her backpack was so heavy. 

I’m not sure what the point of this is. Showing how petite white women get fed chicken and water, when caught by the copys/security/border patrol? Oh, the trailer says to “learn about the people, places, and water.” 

There’s one crusty dude who does talk about the place...after 30 minutes in I skipped to 1:09 - it’s definitely beautiful scenery. Skipped to 1:16...by walking into a lake she sees how it’s all connected. 

Into the Whine (get it? like, Into the Wild, but with this person). On their site they tag #girlswhohike. I wish they’d put that girl in this documentary. I wish they’d made this more watchable, because when it is talking about the message (how we abuse the water resources available) it is pertinent, mildly interesting, but definitely has a message that needs to be shared.

I feel like the thumbnail for the video tells you everything you need to know, about whether you’ll like this or not.
