You know I always wondered why they choose SEER as the English name for 赛尔号
i was thinking about posting a taomee ip-related doodle compilation... (in retrospect, i first made some doodles around april?? may?? and now i’m actually starting back up again!)
why does he own a life-sized kula doll
or
is it not him that owns it
could it belong to
UNCLE BODHI?
Just watched the trailer for the new Taomee movie
It reminded me of the plot of like, three different PKMN movies...
WTF?

Boys make up 80% of Taomee's user base. Boys are also more likely to spend money online. -- Tiffany Qiang via @AsiaTechSU #ThinkAboutIt
Things I learn from my job.
A completely original racing game for iPhone created by Chinese developer Taomee.
I can't imagine this having any sort of decent controls -- I've played a few iOS racing titles recently (e.g. Forever Drive, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing), and their controls are garbage. I would rather play Magnetic Shaving Derby on my face for reals than spend more time with these.
On a similar topic, Joystiq has a shrewd editorial today on how virtual controls are still total ass for some iPhone games (Not all! I've enjoyed a few that were tolerable.). I thought we're supposed to be well past the point where "pretty much everyone's figured [out iOS controls] by now", but some game types really are best suited for physical buttons -- there's still life for handhelds yet!
