                   “You preform? Oh. I could NEVER. Too much stage fright.”

“Now this time, I propose we play the proper roles of who should dance what,” but didn’t that sound BORING? It miiiight have, if his partner in this dance was anyone but Jasmine, the childhood friend turned pseudo-sister, whose wit and conversation could single-handedly provide enough laughs and all general mirth for every partygoer there, if she so wanted. No. It would never be boring! Phillip thought this much as he smiled down at her little person, extending an open palm to her just as the violins began to strain into the next tune.

                    “Oh -- how grand it is to see you again! It has been quite sometime has it not? How is your family?”

                   “Impressive! You are fluent in four languages at eighteen? That is quite the feat. I am only fluent in three.”

Ever the gracious diplomat, Jasmine made her way towards the girl. She nodded her head politely -- a safe gesture of greeting to a lady of unknown status. “Hello, I don’t believe we’ve met. I’m Princess Jasmine of Agrabah.”

“Captain Hawkins? It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” Jasmine smiled  and offered her hand in greeting. “I’m glad to see you again in  . . .more flattering circumstances.”
