Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Radhana awakens in her bed, blearily looking around. The vague form of Darshana bustling about the room irritates her, but she cannot find word to put to thought. She shifts, blinking a few times. “Darshana..what have I told you about organizing my room?” She asks idly, voice rough with the sleep of recuperative days. The handmaiden ignores her with a small ‘Hmph.’ The rosy sylvari shakes her head, dragging herself from the covers to sit up. “Darshana.” The other handmaiden turns, hand on her hip, an uncommon defiance in her eyes. “Maybe I wouldn’t have to clean your room, if you did it yourself. Just like taking care of the Mistress. I always have to do that, when you mess up.” Radhana stares at the servant girl. Just stares. Slowly, her lips turn up in a smile, and she chuckles, rising. “I suppose you’re right.” She walks a few steps to the girl, the smile plastered on her face. “Let me do that, you’ve done enough already.” The red handmaiden reaches towards the dustpan, then suddenly snaps her hand up to the throat of Darshana. “You presume to tell -me- that -you- serve my Lady better?” The rage written upon her face burns in her bright eyes, giving them an orange tint. The defiance and sass turns to terror, Darshana’s eyes near bulging as she whimpers and gasps, struggling. “No. I’ve had just about enough of you, you thorn.” Radhana turns, and with fury-borne, magic-assisted strength, she starts dragging the handmaid from the room. Careful eyes check for the Lady of the Manor. Hopefully, most likely, she’s asleep. Excellent.
Outside, Radhana twists and literally throws Darshana down the slope. The sky darkens with the rising storm of Radhana’s anger. “Who do you -think- you -are-!!” She screams, the tempest above her echoing in thunder. Darshana’s response is a scream, drowned out by the raging air around her. She stumbles over herself as she tries to run further down the hill. Lightning strikes the ground near her, eliciting another shriek of pure terror. Radhana stalks towards her prey, lightning crackling around her like wings. “Now we’ll see who cleans up best. No one, not a -single- fucking PERSON will find your body when I’m done with you.” She hurls a ball of electricity at the terrified maid, missing by inches. This only angers her further, and the very earth rises up to clench Darshana’s leg, shattering the woman’s right leg at the knee. She sobs, trying to pull away from the ground futilely. “Don’t! Please, don’t, no! I didn’t mean to insult you! I’m sorry! NO! Please don’t kill me, Radhana, please!!” she begs the advancing elementalist. Radhana pauses above her, winds whipping her leafy fronds to and fro. “Oh no, you did, Darshana. It’s too late for begging. I told you to leave my room. You didn’t. Now you’re never going to see it again.” She makes a vicious gesture, and the earth surges forth again to ravage Darshana’s limbs, the bone-chilling shrieks of agony lost in the fury of the tempest. One by one, with a gritted curse, Radhana slashes the woman apart, till she’s a nigh unconscious head and torso practically dead. Only magic sustains her, and all she’d see in the end was the vague form of the raging handmaiden, hands wrapping around her throat. “Goodbye, Darshana.” She grins, and the unfortunate girl’s world goes black.
Upon reentering, Taneigg greets Radhana perfunctorily. “Why were you outside so long, Radhana?” She asks in her saccharine sweet voice. “Oh, my Lady! I’m so sorry if I woke you. I was taking out the trash, there seems to be more than I remembered. One brutal storm out there, it took me a little longer than normal.” She smiles, dropping a curtsey. “Can I make you some tea, my Lady?”
No one needs to know, just how far you go.
