no bc tamaren is so good actually. you know those kid pairings where the grumpy boy dislikes the happy go lucky girl but actually has a crush on her? like damianya?

well tamaren is not like that at all bc the boy is actually a girl and she has her reasons for disliking tamarack whose whole thing is that she challenges people and the overall status quo. like wdym my best friend befriended a GIRL. and wants her in our BOY club. no THANKS

then step 2 happens and she loses her spark and i can see ren being so so awkward around her bc shes usually so exasperated by her antics but now theres none so. and she also feels guilty for treating her like that and wondering if she could trust her again.................. yknow the usual step 2 teenagehood angst

and then their step 3 selves being stable, but still clueless kids on the brink of adulthood................. something changes something stays the same.......... yada yada
