but then it DOES matter. Because the final vote isn't a trial of skill it's a popularity vote. And you realise nothing you went through this entire season, nor the seasons prior was ever worth it because you had NO chance of winning. You are unpopular. I like that he finally realises he doesn't need other peoples approval, but in this context he literally did? I'm just so annoyed that he's sort of shoved to the side in the finale in order to give Mephone and Cabby the spotlight. It's just so frustrating. I feel as though Cabby winning kind of messed with how well the finale could have been. Because Cabby's already found her conclusion- or could have easily in previous episodes. She has friends and people who support her no matter what. She didn't need Test-Tube's forgiveness but if that was something they wanted to do, it could have happened episodes ago. But for Silver and Cabby they still needed something. Their stories still feel incomplete or lacking. Balloon in my opinion needed some sort of moment, to finally stick up for himself. Instead of just saying it in a small little scene only to nickel. Let him be angry, or do something for himself? Anything I beg. And Silver was just... god I've already ranted about him before but all he needed was a moment with Candle, or a moment where his inner flame succeeds in helping instead of it being this mass of jealousy. They'll probably never have a spot on the show again, even if theres another season and it pains me so much that this is how they end.
