The mutant hadn't been working at Stark Industries for long. It still didn't feel real. Granted, her job wasn't exactly overly glamorous. She ran around and got documents signed. None of the documents were the cool, super confidential kind but someone had to carry the mundane ones around. It gave her plenty to look at, though she didn't have the clearance to go where she really wanted to. Tabby was a little above a page, but that was about it. The cool stuff she'd never get to see, or if she did, she'd be in her fifties.
It was rare that she actually took files to someone 'important'. Her co-worker, the charming and driven Kevin, always seemed to get the better jobs. Yet when the young man walked into work drunk off his ass, Tabby got his assignments for the day. A sly smile crossed her face as she was handed a file for Tony Stark.
As the elevator ascended, Tabby realized that she hadn't been so high in the building. It was a new experience in itself. When she arrived at the door to Stark's office, Tabby straightened her blazer. The mutant still wasn't used to wearing it, or any 'nice' clothes for that matter. Nevertheless, one was supposed to look presentable when entering the presence of Mr. Tony Stark. With a deep breath, Tabby knocked on the door.
