A family can be one harpy child, her stuppy (stick puppy), her adopted bird-man dad, her half-wood werewolf grandma, her baba-yaga great-grandma, and her giant strunkle (stick grunkle (grand uncle)) :)

I've really wanted to draw the whole group together in one pic for a long time hehe. Morgwen got her stuppy, named Acorn, as a reward for her first successful healing spell (she uses mushrooms to heal)! I haven't done too much story stuff with my characters in a long while (I don't write or RP, I just vaguely plot out what they do per expansion) so it was fun to pull a bunch of completely unrelated threads together so they'd all end up in this new little group.

I did elf!Talarik ‘cause I’d imagine the context to then be “hey you two do this all the time is this like an elven hello? I gotta act like an elf right?”

Bird doodles from the con this past weekend that I super-quickly slapped some colour on :>

He is! I rolled him up as a Demon Hunter on WrA, since it’s basically the kind of fel-flashiness that his class as a “Felblade” is. They even fly :P He just can’t IC use the iconic stuff like Eye Beam, and “Metamorphosis” is really just “Stop dicking around and drop the elven disguise and go back to being a bird so he can fully focus on fighting”. He’s sitting at 101 though ‘cause I have... a lot of alts.

Talarik was Vronaak’s clutch brother (not a blood relative just paired up at an early age). They were really close (like, dating basically) for a good while before they drifted apart when they ended up in different disciplines. Vronaak was graceful and stealthy so he joined the Harriers, while Talarik was strong and fast, landing him a spot in the Wing Guard.

They didn’t get to spend much time with each other but were still friendly. Talarik was the one who saved Vronaak from his ambush, before encouraging him to run off after being cursed. But he was spotted by his fellow Guards and they tried to take him in for treason or whatever, but he was like “No fuck you I’ll kick your ass” and did just that, and then also left the spires. To go kick other things’ asses because he liked doing it and being just a Guard was boring. He wanted to get stronger.
