DM: Through the broken doorway you can see a small, square room with three other doors leading off it. In the middle of the room is a four-armed skeleton twirling scimitars.
Hamish (playing Thaddeus): That sounds familiar.
DM: Yeah, you've faced one of these before because I love them.
Marijn (playing Godric): Can I fire an eldritch blast at it?
DM: Yep. It takes some damage and continues twirling its swords.
Tati (playing Seraph): I'll throw in an energy strobe.
DM: Same story.
Adam (playing Billie): It looks like we can attack it from here without aggroing it. Ranged characters got this one?
Marijn: Yep.
DM: *sigh* I should have seen this coming. Let's not bother with dice, you can take ten on beating it. You can have 100 XP.
Adam: Does that count as an encounter?
DM: Yeah.
Tati: Oh! Does that mean my ring activates?
DM: Yes, your new ring can now teleport everyone with you.
Tati: Sweet! Let me know if we need a rest guys, I got the uber.
