No classical Rival-energy but more like working together in secret?
Both have been through a lot and can comfort each other quite well.
I headcanon that Klavier was in love with Daryan and Apollo with Clay so there’s even more pain to bond over for them.
I also headcanon Klavier to be more of a cat-person and adore Apollo’s cat.

Yen Sid sure seemed content to send him on far away tasks often enough that it felt like years since he’d been in Twilight Town.
