honestly, such and good and valid question because i've always looked at the metkayina tail as stiff and thick. almost like a fin which helps them move through the water, and though that makes some sort of sense, i feel like, chances are, they're just as pliable as any other part of their body.

so to answer the question, i would think that it would shift to the side on it's own. like an involuntary muscle contraction or movement that's reactive to the situation.

so during coitus (sex, haha) i would theorize that it moves on it's own for both metkayina and omaticaya. maybe it contracts and stiffens, or coils (specifically talking about the omaticya now). i could also see the type of sex playing a part in it too. like predator and prey, where the adrenaline is pumping, the tail may be stiffened at the base but the tip quivers from excitement.
