I tried to make a banner about Arata, I wanted it to highlight the role he has in the manga and his relationship with the main characters.

Arata is a symbol in the Karuta world,

he is an inspiration for Chihaya (and a special presence in her heart that's why I chose the scene where she puts her hands (and her phone) on her chest)

Taichi sees a goal in him, something he wants to become, not in Karuta per se but in becoming straightforward and honest like him.

Shinobu although she has a deeper connection with him, he is mainly a playmate in Karuta, they have a long history together in this sport.
