Does Taeriix also smoke or have any addictions whatsoever??
So in all honesty there are 2 Taeriixâs one I played on Moon Guard and one on Earthen Ring.Earthen Ring Taeriix is a Vindicator from AU Draenor. A trainer for guards and recruits, he helped defend against the attack at karabor and in MU timeline fell. I have leveled him, but I have not done much RP with this Tae. Heâs pretty straight laced though and doesnt have any addictions. Heâs really lighthearted outside of his job and loves a good laugh.Moon Guard Taeriix however was raised from death in Naxx (Long story on how that happened but follow me here) He canât actually eat much, they often fed the knights though it wasnât necessary corpses and things I believe a book in game says. it makes him sick though and he throws it up, to no other ill effects. The only thing he can eat is a particular type of meat he doesn't know what it is (its draenei) not that he actually seeks to eat. His what sateâs him being a knight is blood. Pain can help can assist his state, but drinking blood is really how he controls himself. Call that an addiction if you like? This Taeriix is also very straight lace,d he was created with a certain set of codes and while slightly skewed a set of morals which he keeps to.

If Mosur got a look at the Dark Portal while it was active, what were his thoughts?
Surwich wasnât a town heâd keep to, the architecture was sharpand dull, dingy. While it didnât have to be draenic buildings or architecturethere was just something off putting about this. Thick wooden beams, animalheads on walls, candle and fire lit rooms. He much preferred the magical lightsthat most cities and towns seemed to use now. But he still found himselflingering here. The dark portal was open, again, this time a blood red and from it pouredMaghar orcs, or at least that was his thought, or had been in the initialconfusion. Now they said it was open to a new Draenor an unblemished Draenor. An old home, at least the last place heâd dared call home.Donât go. Donât leave me. I donât want tolose you.He knew these words, had heard them many times, but it had been decades sinceheâd heard them directed at him. Curiosity burned within him was it true? Wasthere another Draenor, how was it possible? Who would be there, who was onDraenor? Was this a portal to the past? The dragons had retreated though anddidnât their abilities only work on Azeroth? He didnât know. His Imp though, she didnât want him to go. In fact she was off now trying toconvince another, his Mevar to stay as well. Her collection, Taeriix was withher though. Conflict stirred within him, he wanted to know. Promises ofhappiness from the past had been offered to him before, he knew they werenâtreal, it was all too good to be true. It would only be more pain and torment, more traps to be snared in. Even still he couldnât shake the thoughts from hiswandering mind. Would she be there?
49. Which one of your OCs would most likely enjoy memes
Taeriix on Earthen Ring, or still living Paladin Taeriix. He has a lighthearted personality and loves a good laugh. When not on duty heâs always been very good about not taking things too seriously. Of all my Warcraft OCs I believe heâd be the one that would most enjoy memes. Heâd probably piss Mosur off with them and get a hoot out of that.
Hi! If you've got the time for it and you don't mind, can you tell us more about your Death Knight, Taeriix? In particular, what his personality is like? He looks adorbs.
Some of this is just for story and some personal headcanon so be forewarned. All off the links are to past journals written about the knight which give a more in depth account of what Iâm summarizing here. Also this got super long
Taeriix is a traditional Lich King death knight with a very different mindset. Taeriix in life was a trainer at Karabor where he both worked and played, fell in love got married, all the ânormalâ stuff. He was one of the people helping direct the defenders and the troops when the orcs came bearing down on Karabor. He called for the defenders to form lines and hold walls against the orcish invaders, in the end his and the men serving with himâs only goals were to allow more time for others to escape. He fell at Karabor, a long time and a long way from Icecrown. With the temple under the rule of orcs and finally demons there was no rest for the draenei spirits who even in death continued to fight on against unending waves of spiritual orc, they would all fall in turn then rise again to fight once more. That is until the orcish visages began to contort and change into the forms of demons and overtime began to devour the spirits of each fallen draenei. He watched each fall in turn until it was his turn yet again, but before they took him, before they tore his soul to shreds a voice rang out. âMine.â He was told âYou need to come with me, itâs time to stop fighting.âHe walked through the bone gates of death and up the long winding stairs to a body made of flesh and bone like the one he had known in life. The bones were his own, then flesh was his returned from the ages.
Though there is no way she should be able to support the weight of the materials her spell has gathered, she picks it up easily and moves it to her clay cradle, water and motes of dust trailing after her like a bridal train. Â Dust settles, water settles, completely filling the clay hollow, surrounding the crystal-glinting bones. Â She leans forward and fits one stone into each empty eye socket: amber in the left, lodestone in the right. Then she covers the clay form, digging a mound up and over it, until her helper, her friend, her brother is tucked in securely. Â She curls up on top of him. Â He will need her now, while the magic builds and his flesh reforms. Â He will need her, and so she will stay with him, and whisper him stories through cracked and bleeding lips while the magic drains through her, each moment stripping away a mortal breath, each moment leaching life from her and gifting it to him.
There is more life in her eyes then there was before, even though her flesh is thin and haggard now.  The man fingers the knife at his belt and comes to a decision.  No one will miss her.  âYou have failed.  Disobeyed.ââIâm trying.  IâŚâ she tries to pull away as he grabs her arm, but her flesh is still cold and stiff and where would she run?  The man pulls free his blade and it is all she can see: the crescent of steel. He has eyes, though they are closed.  He has flesh - sensation - limbs and bone - though the flesh is strangely still, undisturbed by lungs, by the beat of blood.  There is weight above him.  Weight and the smell of soil.  Through the muffling substance he can hear a womanâs voice, high-pitched, frightened. And he must protect her. He struggles at first finding moving like that of waking from a long slumber when your arms and legs donât quite obey. He shifts against the dirt, the soil, he does not question its presence. It is thin, not too deep and he forces a break in the hard frozen clay. He doesnât even think to breath, he had fighting for so long he had forgotten he needed to long ago. He twists in his earthen womb using his free hand to push himself up, breaking through more of the clay that cradled his body into new life. The world is bright, even as dim as the light in the room was after such a long time in darkness it made him squint. Lanky pink-skinned orcs, some demon creature, he did not know these sights. Many things he did not know, did not recall, but the tiny woman was the one who had drawn im from battle, told him he could stop fighting the demons, gave him a rest and reprieve from the onslaught he had fought so long he had lost time. In truth if he were told how long it had been he would not have believed. He does not speak, he does not make a noise, he grabs the arm of the man towering over the woman. grasps his frail wrist in his hand and squeezes. His thumb pressed against the base of the manâs palm and he can feel the tension, the bone under flesh. He snaps it.âStop!â it is not a commanded, but a frightened plea, âStop.â  If the man dies, someone will find out.  Someone will come.  Then there will be more death.  âStop,â she says.He didnât know why he should stop, but he did. He stopped because while he didnât know why he should stop he also didnât know why he should continue, that and he was asked to stop. He slowly released the hand and stood to his full height.
He was born a knight in Naxxramas, and had no knowledge of what he was. His eyes were mismatched, one a golden amber color the other a pale grey, amber and lodestone the materials set into his skull as the spells original catalyst. He had not seen the fel-knights Gulâdan had created by forcing the souls of orcs into the bodies of paladins. The only understanding he had of life after death was stories heâd heard of Auchindoun. She had asked him to come with her and after the man had left she had asked him to stay, she would send him on into death if he wanted, not keep him alive against his will. He decided to stay, because she had asked him to, and he remembered the stories and soft words she spoke to his bones as, though they were a subconscious memory, as she had called him back. She had called him brother and so he called her sister. To his knowledge the spirit guardians of the Auchenai, which he assumed he must be, were only called back for protection, and it was obvious she did need that. He had been dead for many many years and his memories were fuzzy at best, the sharpest being the final moments of his life though others would come to him over time.He remembered but had little understanding of the way the priests at Auchindoun worked, he remembered something called bloodwine, and so when the hunger pains came on him thatâs how he chose to sate it. In life he had been a very disciplined man when he was âon dutyâ in Naxx he was constantly on duty. He had been made and called in such a way that he did not here the calls and whispers of the Lich King himself, but at the request of his Sister he still acted as though he did, otherwise there would be no keeping her safe. This went on for a while, there were ups and downs and times he could not protect her. The pair were eventually separated when Taeriix murdered the male necromancer that had tried to kill his Sister when he first re-awoke in this world. His memories were locked away and more control forced over him. He became an instructor of Knights in Naxx the same as he had been an instructor of Vindicators at Karabor. At some point he was transferred to the Shadow Vaults before the Kings fall. After that he decided to stay there. He was missing something, but didnât know what. He stayed on at the Vaults and looked when he had time until he felt a pull, a tug, a familiar call.He eventually found his sister again and she untethered the locks the necromancers had put on his memories. Heâs still more dead than alive. He takes good care of his body but he doesnt breath, or pretend to breath to make those around him âfeel betterâ. He sees it as unnecessary. Most of the things he does are based on necessity. Rarely has he thought of his condition as forced or horrible. He has given ample opportunities to move on, but until he has finished the duty he agreed to, staying with and protecting his Sister, he has no reason to go to rest. She told him very close to his rebirth:
His fingers curl as she speaks, not closing around her hands but moving against them. It was in that instant, her mention of the Light he realized he could not feel it. âI donât feel it.â He said and looked at her, his mind was an even slope of steady thought. âThe Light,â he did not sound terribly upset, surprised. âThat will come with dying though, it isnât until I reach the end I will be with it again, is that right?â Still his voice was steady. She strokes his palm.  âYes.  It will burn you now - it will try to heal you, but it doesnât understand that the poison is what is holding you together, and so it will hurt you while trying to heal.  But⌠it loves you no less.  Nothing I can do could ever touch itâs love.ââI was not afraid that it had left me. I have left it in this journey, and eventually when I am finished I will go back, but not until my promise is fulfilled, little Sister.â He watches her brush her hand along his, the size difference is almost startling.âYou werenât afraid?â she frowns.  âWhy not?  They all⌠they are all afraid.  I am afraid.ââHow can I be afraid? It is, a little painful, a little hollow, like I am missing something, but I died, I am missing much. It is not gone, I do not disbelieve, do not think it has turned itâs back on me, this is just a road. The one between life and final rest where it does not shine. To question that would bring into question my faith and everything I remember to be true. The Light loves you no less.â He said or repeated to her.
That along with the original/main assumption that he is/was called back in a fashion similar to the Auchenai spirit guardians has had a major effect on his psyche and the way he acts. Heâs still rather emotionless which is off putting to the majority of living people he has been around (and Iâve RPed with) but heâs fun. Heâs more comfortable in his Scourge armor and speaking Scourge than even Draenei. If you have further questions let me know, I started super summarizing toward the end. Little Sister is shamestoneborn so a good chunck of the blocked writing belongs to her as well!
Is there something that Mosur think that heâs pretty darn good at (maybe even better than anyone else)? Has that ever gotten him into trouble? Has he ever been proven right?
One of the few things Mosur still thinks he's good at is jewelcrafting. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it's one of the few things he kept up doing after the fall of Shattrath when he left everything else go. It's how he makes his money to afford staying in inns, and eating out all the time. He doesn't have any of his own creations anymore though he made the wedding rings for Taeriix and his wife, as well as rings for his fiancee when he still called Karabor his home.I can't say it's ever gotten him in trouble but he is very sensitive about his work and the suggestion that someone else can or could do it better will defiantly darken his opinion of said person.Another thing he's good at that wouldn't come to the forefront of his mind if he were asked is board games. He's pretty good at strategy games. Reading a board and choosing a strategy, changing it on the fly as necessary. He and Hadeon spend a handful of evening playing just such games, and in the past he did with Taeriix - Taeriix though never won without cheating. (Look you can't loose them all that's just bad for self confidence). Proving right or wrong is hard here, in terms of game wins he's edging out against Hadeon, though it defiantly hasn't been a complete sweep. If only he could incorperate these same strategy skills to his real life!

Happy Monday! If your characters were a piece on a chess board, what would they be and what would they look like? What color would they be?
Both Mosur and Rook would be black Rooks. Mosurâs made of either simple plastic or black stone and Rookâs made of a high polished black stone or a black gem. Neither would have embellishments or etchings on them. Both are plain and easy to grasp. The stone one weighs a bit more than the one carved from a gemstone. (Black Star Diopside I think)Taeriix would be a knight, black on Moonguard and white on Earthen Ring. Both would be made of a thick, heavy, sturdy material. The carved features would be light, and the white knight would have a smile to him.Alastoren would be a black pawn carved from bloodstone whoâs main goal is to reach the other side of the chessboard and make something more of himself. Every carved edge would be sharp and precise. The high polish is meant to distract from the imperfect pattern in the stone but actually brings it out in a more beautiful manner to some with sharp eyes.Papa Don Sowdi is a black bishop carved from charred bone. His approach of things hardly ever direct but with farther reaching abilities than it may normally appear. The bone is roughly carved, with tools that might have been too large or were hand made and ill prepared for such detailed work. Still the precision with which the figure is carved shows a skill and understanding the artisan has gained with tools that were perhaps not the best options.
The headache was no longer something she thought about. Â It simply was--the same way the ache in her healing fingers was, the same way that the gash in the horizon above Auchindoun was. Â The gash bleed Light and leaked music: blinding, deafening, swaddling the world until the only darkness left was behind her eyes and the only silence left was in her own throat. Â
They waited for the knight and the priestess to return. Â And while they waited, draenei spirits processed through the landscape like veiled women walking towards the wedding altar. Â They headed towards the light, towards the music. Â She wondered how long it had been since the world saw so much death. Â She wondered where the orcsâ spirits went but she didnât ask: none of her companions would know the answer and the question would only bring her dismissive looks that did nothing but hammer home how alien they really were.
âI know what you are.â Â The voice spoke in Draenei, a language she did not know well.
The witch turned. Â A spirit was watching her--a draenei woman with horns that curved above her brow like a crescent moon. Â She had seen this spirit days ago, had thought her long gone into the Light. Â âWhat am I?â Â Her voice was rusty from disuse.
âA spirit-witch. Â You bind souls into flesh like the Auchenai bind them into their constructs.â Â Even in death the draeneiâs eyes were a pale, piercing blue; they went through the witchâs stomach like a needle through a butterfly.
âWhat does it matter? Â Will you turn me in to your priests so that they can root me out?â Â This world might not know the word ânecromancerâ, might not know the Scourge, but she was no more welcome here than she had been on Azeroth. Â
âI want your help.â
Her muscles stiffened, the shock of the words transmuting her for a moment from flesh to stone. Â âNo. Â You donât.â Â Then she stood and turned away.
The spirit grabbed her wrist. Â âPlease! Â My children--they are orphans now. Â I need to get back to them.â
âThen ask your priests. Â Perhaps they will give you one of their construct bodies.â
âEven if they did, a spirit guardianâs duties do not include raising children. Â Please. Â I know you can--you made the gold-eyed one, didnât you?â
The witchâs eyes flickered back towards their camp, where Tae waited. Â âYes. Â But it was a different time. Â It is a dark magic to bind a spirit within its own dead flesh. Â I have given it up.â Â She jerked her wrist away from the spiritâs grasp.
âIs your purity worth more than my children?â Â The spirit hissed.
She froze again. Â âYou do not know what you are asking for. Â Your flesh will break and rot and will not heal. Â Your emotions will be locked away from you--encased in ice you cannot melt--save for rage, you will always have rage. Â Worms will eat their way through your eyes, your chest. Â The only pleasure you will feel will be when you cause another living creature pain. Â The Light will burn instead of heal you. Â Is that what you want raising your children?â
âThe gold-eyed one is not like that.â
âI cannot promise you will be like him.â
The spirit went silent for a moment, faded to nothing but dim outlines and gleaming eyes. Â The witch hoped she would turn away and move towards Auchindoun like the others. Â But she did not. Â Instead she reformed, with sharper edges than before. Â âBetter than letting them be raised by loss, by absence, by the fading memory of love and the reality of war. Â I love them, witch, and if you had ever loved anyone so much you would know that death and rage is not enough to snuff out that love.â
She had one more arrow in her quiver, one more chance to strike home and convince this woman to leave. Â âThere is something else.â
âWhat?â
âIf I do this, you will be my creature. Â Mine to call. Â Mine to command. Â Mine to slay. Â Your will, ultimately, will no longer be your own.â
A low hiss of shock escaped from the spiritâs throat. Â âWould you?â
âI am no Auchenai.â
The spirit shivered, shimmered. Â âI need to consider.â Â She left on hooves that no longer quite touched the ground.
The necromancer watched, hoping the spirit would turn aside and head towards the spear of Light that called for her. Â But she did not. Â And the necromancer knew she would return.
Montgomery Gentry - One In Every Crowd
Before Taeriix became a Death Knight he was a very different person. Not that this person is gone, but there is little to no reason for him to bring it out, he has a different set of priorities to focus on now.
Got a fliptop box of marlboros,
he'll bum a light and steal your girl,
then laugh at you for gettin' all upset, well everybody here knows his name,
makes everybody else look sane,
when he's out, as far as you can get,
in his mind he's a rock star, crankin' out that air guitar,
til the bartender says fool, get off my bar
There's one in every crowd,
that brings the party in us out,
good time charley with a harley, whiskey bent and hellbound,
he's got the next round, but he always drinks for free,
there's one in every crowd, and it's usually me,
hey ya'll, hey ya'll, hey ya'll, there's one in every crowd
He's a hard drinkin man's man,
and women love him when they can,
he's a bartender's best friend,
it ain't a party till he walks in
