Saw old promotional art for TADC and it itched my brain.

Love the idea of a old internet animated looking digital circus with a “Disney quality” Ragatha who moves in singular poses like a dating-game and a pomni rigged like salad fingers or even a sonic for hire animated Jax

We know Ragatha has mixed feelings on their dynamic and no, it’s not because she doesn’t want either to have friends or is clingy over Pomni. Has anyone ever considered it’s out of fear and prevention of a situation between Pomni and Jax which ended up happening towards the end of episode 6? I hate it when they depict Ragatha as some crazy queer woman who only cares about Pomni, is extremely jealous of Jax, and somehow “deserves” that fate because she’s “fake” or a “loser”. What are we doing?

Exploring the idea of Ragatha being in love and obsessed over Pomni only for her to choose Jax over her not only mischaracterizes Ragatha, it also mischaracterizes Pomni and Jax to an extent. Pomni considers teaming up with Ragatha until Ragatha self-sabotages because she doesn’t feel like she deserves it. Jax considers teaming up with Gangle before Pomni, which means he isn’t limited to just her. Pomni even suggests if Ragatha wants to team up with Jax and respects her decision whether that be a yes or no. Pomni isn’t some straight or bisexual woman who only wants Jax because Ragatha is too clingy or she “has bad taste”. Jax isn’t some rando who only cares about Pomni and hates “the other woman”. Ragatha isn’t some queer “girlfailure” who should be mocked for losing her. It’s just strange to see and I ship ButtonBlossom, Bunnydoll, and FunnyBunny. Why can’t they just be a polycule or explored in a way that doesn’t demean someone into something they aren’t?
