Whether it be in my personal life or professional, it seems like I’m always living on the edge where I am and who I could be. For some of us that leap might just be one small step, but for me it seems like every time I’m ready to jump that small leap becomes more like a great divide. I refuse to stand on the cusp of who I could be intimidated by the long fall. I refuse to let others take my eye off the goal. I refuse to let the decisions I’ve made in the past limit my probability for greatness in the future. I refuse to let the actions of others impact my optimism for opportunity. I refuse to let the fear of failing persuade the power of potential. I refuse to settle to avoid the struggle. I’d rather die trying then live lying. I’d rather defy the odds then succumb to being just another statistic.
