---- [ Yeah, it's me, buddy. ] She'd sign, her suit marred with dust and soot from the raging battle.
Hardly a combatant, it was DEVILWATCH's job to respond and identify threats. Hers was the report that would go into the system... so she needed to see it through. The emergency responders could handle the bodies. Her priority here... was the fiend leaning on her. Legs straining to keep him upright, Mary was glad that she'd been hitting the gym. ---- From within her backpack, a small cadre of mechanical spiders began to crawl forth. The 'Queen Bee' was hardly ever lacking in drive and motivation to create and adjust. [ Hold the wound closed, I'll stitch it up. ] She tried to sign, one-handed. She needed to get him some blood, but couldn't just quite let him chomp on her... oh her poor falling-apart, actively-wounded friend. With a sigh, she contemplated what to do, a hundred eyes on the scene all looking for opportunity. But at the very least, Mary knew that with each stinger-stab, her 'spiders' could start stitching Violence up closed enough to help him walk. [ We'll get you out of here. You did well. Just keep walking, okay? ]
Without so much as a protest, Violence promptly held his wound together as the girl's ability slowly stitching him up. The fiend might not have known Mary for long, but he knows her long enough that even if she doesn't know what she's doing, her improvisation is more than good enough.
Stiffles grunts coming from the fiend as he felt the spiders to pierce onto his host's flesh, it's no wonder humans hate to go to the hospital, this is excrutiating!
"Mary...I..."
Between shallow breaths, Violence tried to form a single sentence, one that couldn't wait to reach wherever they were going.
"Mary... I think this was a setup..."
The fiend slowly walk alongside the girl, his feet feeling heavy at each step.
"The devil... was just too powerful... me and a couple of newbies would have never been able to fight it..."
