As the afternoon cloud rolled in the light became diffused and almost dusty. The wind slowly picks up and the temperature begins to fall. Once again awaking to clear blue skies and cold dry air, stepping outside the prominent mountains are Tabuche (6,501m) connected to Cholatse (6,440m) through a long ridge. Both mountains catch the morning light like sails catching the wind and reflect it into the valley below - bringing some warmth. We head off for our acclimatization stop at Dingboche next, directly in the shadow of Ama Dablam.
