I don't have any specific ships like that 😅 During playtests, I usually mix them up. When I write, I also try to make it so that every single character feels special and appreciated, and not specifically fitting for this or that.

But I have lots of favorite scenes that are MC-specific!

This would be funniest if your MC ends up a national hero, and during the big celebration festival, MC sees a town guard and goes NOPE jumping straight out of the pharaoh’s procession, and sprints into a rundown pub’s corner, hyperventilating.

Narmer, blinking: "Wait, wha--? Where--? Why did--?"

Tabiry, leaning closer to whisper to him: "...Uhm... Should I go check on them?"

Ahmose, trying to see where MC went: "What's wrong? Did MC see a scorpion or something? I once had a scorpion in my chariot. It was huge..."

Meanwhile, in the pub...

The group, watching as MC rearranges their own blankets for Narmer so that he doesn't have to sleep on the bare ground: Qenna: "What did you do to that poor soul to make them into a perfect little soldier?"

Narmer: "Nothing. They keep doing these gestures. I did not ask for them."

Tabiry: "They certainly seem very... dedicated."

Qenna, grinning: "Do you think I can teach them to fetch me a beer?"

MC, without looking up: "Sure, I can do that. Would you like an extra dagger in the guts with it? I'll give it to you free of charge."

Qenna, taking a step back, whispering to Narmer: "You know what? Put your dog on a leash. It bites."

I think so 👀 In everyday life, it would be like this:

Narmer has a bit of social anxiety, so if MC would for example do some tasks for him regularly without asking (because he would never ask) and make his everyday life easier, he would break down crying from relief.

For Qenna... hm, this is a bit spoilery, but after certain things happen and some things are revealed in the story, if MC would then say "I don't care, I still like you like this," Qenna would also have a small (positive) breakdown.

For Zaia, it would be if MC is there and reassures them every time they go back to the Duat and then wait for them when they come back.

For Tabiry, it's if MC stands up for her and protects her even knowing that she used to be a former King's Guard and she doesn't technically needs protection. She would swoon.
