I decided to move in with Hatshepsut. She occupies the temple she had built back when she was pharaoh. She assured me I was most welcomed to stay with her.

I got caught. Someone saw me drinking blood and was predictably unhappy. I had a decision to make. I could uproot my whole family to have us move to another town and start again. Or I could move by myself.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I think Hatshepsut and I are a couple. She started flirting with me and asking to see me more often. Then one thing led to another and now we were making out during my grandkid's birthday celebration.

I was surprised Hatshepsut accepted the invitation for something as small as a birthday celebration for my toddler grandkid. She expressed how that was ridiculous, she was more than happy to attend and get to know my family better. She noted how she didn't know my grandkids were born vampires. I thought she knew, after all, she had met Rah years ago. But then again I guess Rah was old enough, perhaps she thought he'd been turned later. She just said how the whole thing was interesting.

It was a normal thing to do for vampires: go out at night for a walk. Going during the day could turn into agony, especially before sunscreen was invented.
