It’s time… to break out the sonas …

Kicking it off with Tab again. The red neckerchief returns, the blue-tinted gloves are gone (for this piece), but check out that spiky new hairdo!

It's my OC Tab again, sporting his latest design--his recent mailman attire, with his golden stripes from his former sailor outfit and a green tie. He also has a passenger bag now that he keeps his mail in. (There's a reason for that.) Tab is not alone this time. Introducing two of his three co-workers / friends--the one in the purple is C.D., to his right is Accel. You'll see and learn more about those two later, as well as the third co-worker who's not here. This piece is intentionally very basic--no detailed backgrounds or varied color palettes, and the lineart (which I tried to make smooth) is done in raster layers rather than vector. I've noticed this has been a trend with my recent art though, and I'm hoping to break away from this with future pieces. (And in case you are wondering, the title has nothing to do with the fact that spring just started recently. Tab's supposed to be leaping off the cliff, though his pose is admittedly not very dynamic enough to convey it.)

"Free love is too tame for him..." A interpretation of what I think Tab would look like, Jet Set Radio style. If only my sister's copy of the JSRF/Sega GT 2002 didn't get busted before its time (though that was partially my fault...) and we still had a decently working Xbox HUEG... ...anyway, this was supposed to be presented as just a sketch I made a few weeks ago (especially since the proportions are a bit naff), but then I decided add a little color. Somewhere along the line I got bored and decided to put a bit more amount of effort into it. :v
